I havent had kimchi before, (but loved the idea of it) so i was a little apprehensive while buying this but I couldn't have been more glad I did. The packaging was great and there were no leaks. It said to open over a sink and i did, but nothing erupted coz i opened it very slowly. Asa i opened it, the smell that wafted was beautiful! Not at all pungent. It smelled amazing. And it tastes even better!! The cabbage is crunchy and well fermented. The taste is a little more sour than i thought(mind you I've never had kimchi before) but it just goes so prefectly well. I just wish it were a little more spicy. That's all. But otherwise, a good buy. Def gonna buy more. It opened instantly as if it was pre opened! A lot of bubbles and froth were coming out as if spoilt.A pungent smell was also coming out rather than the mouth watering, fermented pickle smell , typical of good kimchi! Completely inedible, money put to sheer waste! Couldnt return it because my little daughter soiled the thermocol packing immediately! So v v bad!
