They have an enjoyable taste, and, for 270 calories, you can often skip a meal with one of these. I had them delivered through Subscribe and Save for a long time.Clif Bar, though, is struggling with resellers over the past year. I had a few shipments skipped last year, and then I was informed that my order was no longer going to be filled at all. The reason? Apparently the old 15%-off incentive for Subscribe and Save doesn't work well for them.OK. I decided to go along with it and re-did my Subscribe and Save at 5% off. That worked fine - for one month. This month, I was reviewing my credit card statement and was surprised by one of my Amazon charges. I went to Amazon.com to review my orders, worried that someone had hacked my account.No hacking. Just Clif Bar upped the price of this item by almost 60%, and went ahead and fulfilled the Subscribe and Save without a warning. Since I was having two of these delivered per month, what I thought would be a $36 charge was $56. At that price, it's much cheaper at the supermarket.As popular as Clif Bars have become, for good reason, they need to step up and find reputable distributors. I canceled my Subscribe and Save and will miss them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Builder's Bar fan *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 23, 2013* I eat a Builder's Bar every day - either for breakfast, or a mid-morning meal. My favorite is chocolate mint, second is peanut butter, but I saw some reviews for the milk chocolate, so I bought this box. I tried the chocolate, but wasn't a fan - so I gave them to my teammates in the office. I just happen to like dark chocoalte, so a milk chocolate doesn't compare. The bars are fresh, easy to chew, and tasty - just because I don't like milk chocolate doesn't mean you should avoid these - if you like milk chocolate, you'll probably love these bars. The value of this 18-pack is very good, the freshness of all Builder's Bars ares guaranteed. Unfortunately, when I received my package, it was clear that the box had gone through some extreme climate changes. The bars had all slightly melted at some point. Not terribly, they were still good and did the job, but my impression was that UPS/USPS shipping probably isn't great for a single box. (Actual stores would receive them by the pallet, which would decrease probability of any given box suffering the ravages of an overheated delivery truck).Maybe it was a one-time thing, or maybe it was because it was the summer.
