I bought two for a 10-year old Leisure Bay spa when the original lights went bad (one partial burnout, the other non-functioning). Initially, I was going to add this to a list of service call items, but after removing the panel and seeing how easy the access was to both lights, I decided to do it, myself. It's literally as easy as changing a light bulb. Save yourself some money & worry by doing this yourself. As far as the product, it's exactly as described. Very bright, lots of colors and looks as though there's fewer parts than on my originals (I'm sure LED technology has evolved in the ten years since my tub was built). Highly recommended!

Worth the money for an upgrade. As others have said it will breath new life into some older hot tubs. My only complaint is the transition between colors is too quick and on the blue/green mode especially, it is even "blocky". Meaning, that after 2-3 transitions between blue/green the cycle starts over and its very noticeable. Kind of a flicker between the cycles and is distracting from what is supposed to be a calm and relaxing atmosphere. My request would be that they add more slower transitions between colors before the cycle repeats.hope this helps.

This light really transformed our tired old spa.Our spa still had the factory incandescent bulb and red/blue plastic filters! Installing this couldn't have been easier - pop the access cover off the spa, reach in and swap the bulb. The colors and patterns look nice and are easy to change using the spa's existing light switch. A little practice and you'll soon have the switch sequence memorized. The nine-LED unit is perfect for our 500 gallon spa, providing a nice lighting effect without being overpowering.

Perfect replacement for an older hot tub bulb. Now my hot tub has a much newer look with the nice bright LED light colors.Only reason for not giving 5 stars is it can be a bit tricky at times to select the color you want. You have to turn the light on and off at a certain rate to get the various colors. Sometimes it doesn't seem to change, but it could be user error on my part.

The first one lasted 2 days. Then the red LEDs failed. I returned it to Amazon for a refund. No problem. Reordered the same product from a different online store, as Amazon no longer carries it. After a week or so, no problems to report. It casts a nice glow over the hot tub and is plenty bright for. 6' square tub.

I changed the bulb out to this one in my hot tub and love it. The ability to create different colors makes me feel like I have a whole new tub. The only thing that I wish it came with was documentation on what order the colors are when you press the on-off. Other than that it is super bright and I would not be happier

One of the two lights worked, and the one that did was underwhelming. Could be cute decoration somewhere, but for a pool? Not so much.

It lights up the spa, but after the first couple of cycles through the various modes, all that still works are white, blue, and off, which is fine with me.
