excellent golf book
Jim Mclean satisfies both the technically advanced golfer as well as those who play more feel based. His golf books are very well written and illustrated, this one is no different. Thanks for taking the time to write this book Jim!

The Best
Three words, BUY this book, you will want to have it in your library. I own all his books, but this one is by far the best. New Information about the swing clearer than anything I have ever read or been taught. BUY

Waste of Money and Time
Maybe the least helpful golf instruction book I’ve ever read. Many of the descriptions of body and club positions are hard to visualize, and the accompanying drawings included to illustrate some of them don’t match the descriptions: Where the toe of the club is described as “down,” for example, it appears up in the drawings, and where the arm is described as “extended” in another example, the accompanying drawing shows it down at the side. There are many references to the author’s previous books, professionals he has helped, famous golfers that he has worked with, and articles he has written that seem to be included as claims to fame or credits for achievement, such as being the first to make extensive use of video recording in teaching golf, or the first to recognize that the club face rather than the swing path sends the ball in its starting direction.
