Not buying the acid resistant line. Any ideas when Innovix will do a cost-effective, acid-resistant blend of this with Multi-strain?

Dear Velocity,This product does not use the same acid-resistance Bio-TRACT technology as our Multi-Strain Probiotic. So, yes, if you take this product on an empty stomach, you will have some live culture reduction due to stomach acid. This formula is the same as what was used in multiple positive clinical trials. The pills used in clinical trials DID NOT have any notable stomach acid protection. The mood-related benefits proven in clinical trials were noticed despite the absence of stomach acid protection. This is because the product was taken with meals and the presence of food provides a small degree of stomach acid protection. It may also be because the strains used in this formula may be slightly less sensitive to acidic environments. To duplicate the benefits noticed in the clinical trials, it is critical that the pills be taken with a meal. Providing this same formula with Bio-TRACT acid protection is a brilliant idea. We have been exploring that, however, it will then be considered a 'new' and 'different' formula than what was studied in clinical trials. Theoretically, you could notice greater benefits, but FDA/FTC rules will no longer permit any references to mood health or clinical success. Why is the product not stomach acid resistant - isn't this problematic?

Some strains have more natural stomach acid resistance than others. This characteristic is a key strain selection criteria.  Second, there is a proprietary protection matrix applied during the production of the two strains.  Third and most importantly, the formula used in InnovixLabs Mood PROBIOTIC mimics exactly what was used in the clinical studies. There was no additional acidity protection used in the clinical studies besides the inherent and natural acid resistance of the strains. All mood and gastrointestinal benefits claimed by the studies were despite or due to the same acidity protection as provided in this formula.

Does this particular probiotic need to be refrigerated?  Thank you.

No probiotic strain requires refrigeration for survival because if they cannot survive room temperature, they will certainly not survive human body temperature. But it is true that probiotic cultures survive longer at refrigeration. You do not need to refrigerate this product, but if you do, it will help maintain even higher live culture counts.

Are the bacte in this product (lactobacillus helveticus rosell-52nd, bifidobacterium longum rosell-175) also contained in your multi-strain product?
