"Nappies are YUUECH!" said the little princess. "There must be something better!" At first the Little Princess thinks the royal potty is even worse than nappies but she soon learns to love it -- even if it isn't always there just when she needs it! Review: Love the Little Princess! - This is such a lovely book, with a naughty little Princess who gets using the potty right in the end! My boys loved her when they were little and I bought this one for my older son's little girl who is just about to start potty training. Fun, and children love the naughtiness. Review: Based on a princess - Bought as a present but receiver said he was happy with the book. To be used for potty training his daughter. He liked the idea of it being based on a princess.

I want my Potty book
This is a really wonderful book, and my little grand-daughter who will be 3 in November, loves it. She can quote most of it as we read it, and requests it every time she comes over. My only quibble is that the Little Princess says "I WANT my potty" frequently, as do other members of her household. Since we are trying to train her not to say "I want" it would have been better if the author had had her saying "I NEED my potty" instead. However, we read it to her as "I need" and when she learns to read and can see that it says "I want" we can explain why we changed the wording - and hopefully by then she will see why!

Good quality book, characters a bit dated
Good quality book, bought to help my daughter to potty train. She is a big fan of the cartoon on TV which is why I bought the book, but it the book seems to have been written years before the TV programme came out and the characters look different - my daughter wasn't sure who it was at first - but the story is fine so once I explained she didn't mind.

i love this book
i love this little book! after reading through the other reviews i cant believe how negative some if them are! its a fun little book about a little princess learning to use the potty, first she hates it then she thinks its fun. yes it does end with her having an 'accident' but that just teaches your little one that it is ok to have accidents and even the little princess didnt get it right every time. both my little girls loved this book when they we're ready to be potty trained and i always recommend this book to family and friends...so will reccomend to you too :)

Potty Perfect
Have bought this book over the years for many babies. It’s beautifully illustrated and draws children in, to the point where we chant ‘I want my potty’ at the opportune moment, as a light hearted way to make the transition from nappies. The first baby I bought it for was my god daughter 32 years ago and have now just bought the 35th edition for HER daughter!!!

Proving that when potty training no two days are the same!
I’ve recently bought this book for my great niece who LOVES its silliness and understands it’s message. Potty training isn’t straightforward. One day good, next day awful! This book takes you on that journey and helps everyone stay light and sane. I first read this book to my little charge when I was a nanny 25 years ago and I’ve bought it for loads of wee girls and their Mummies since.

Nice little story, but not a potty training book!
As a nice little story for youngsters, its fine. As a book to help introduce the idea of potties to a youngster, its pretty much useless in my opinion - doesn't give the child any indication of what the Little Princess is actually doing on the potty, or why. And in the throes of active potty training, the ending just drove me mad. My little girl liked the pictures, but it gave neither her nor me any potty training help whatsoever!

Potty training is challenging
Love the little Princess, who needs her potty, and doesn't quite manage to hold on long enough- very real!

kid-pleaser for potty trainers (and their siblings)
My nearly three year old (mostly potty trained but still having accidents) loves this book, and his six year old brother loves reading it to him. They both think it's hilarious, and we always have to read it at least three times in a row. I guess I can understand others' objections to the book, but I watch my little boy easily identifying with the little potty training princess in her quest to master the potty chair. He clearly enjoys watching her journey through the process. As for the ending, it's so easy to add an, "oh well, that's okay", just as you would if your child had an accident.

Little Princess
Daughter loves the story, I don’t so much, and ending a little abrupt and odd!
