It only took him a minute or two to figure out how to slide all the different parts to get the treats out but he will easily keep playing with it for around half an hour even though most of the treats are gone after 10mins. It’s a life saver if I need to keep him occupied while I get something done, and he gets very excited when he sees it coming out of the cupboard so I’m sure he loves it! He also seems much calmer after he’s done with it so having a puzzle for him to use his brain on really seems to help. The puzzle itself seems very sturdy and I have no worries about any of the parts breaking off. It can be a bit tricky to clean in all the gaps if you have used something sticky like peanut butter but mostly the material means it wipes clean pretty easily. All in all I am so glad I bought it and will definitely be getting some other puzzle toys for him to have a go at in the future. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely brilliant, well made game, poochio loves it! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 15 June 2021* I bought this game for my canny Jack Russell, we tried other pet superstore games in the past but she figured them out in seconds and they were very poorly made. This is really well made of a durable material which is also eco friendly so that’s a plus. I like that there are two different things she has to do to get the treats as it keeps her thinking for longer. It’s good that although she knows how to get them it relies on her using dexterity as well as problem solving when one of the fish fins has swung over, stopping others from being moved until she moves it back. I bought this with another from the range but this is definitely her favourite and challenges her more. She goes potty every time I get the box out! 100% recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the better enrichment toys but ... *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 April 2021* The negatives :flaps get in the way of the sliding circle cups a bit.Can be tricky to clean, I soak it in hot soapy water so it gets to the bits human hands can't.Otherwise this is one of the better enrichment toys. They will figure it out by the end of the first go, but still enjoy the few minutes it takes to get the treats. They equally love a box with scrunched up paper in it that they have to find the treats in, or a snuffle hunt in the garden --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/181999941-outward-hound-by-nina-ottosson-dog-hide-n-slide-treat](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/181999941-outward-hound-by-nina-ottosson-dog-hide-n-slide-treat) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
