I have a one-year-old miniature poodle so he’s very intelligent, but also very hyper. It only took him a minute or two to figure out how to slide all the different parts to get the treats out but he will easily keep playing with it for around half an hour even though most of the treats are gone after 10mins. It’s a life saver if I need to keep him occupied while I get something done, and he gets very excited when he sees it coming out of the cupboard so I’m sure he loves it! He also seems much calmer after he’s done with it so having a puzzle for him to use his brain on really seems to help. The puzzle itself seems very sturdy and I have no worries about any of the parts breaking off. It can be a bit tricky to clean in all the gaps if you have used something sticky like peanut butter but mostly the material means it wipes clean pretty easily. All in all I am so glad I bought it and will definitely be getting some other puzzle toys for him to have a go at in the future.

I bought this game for my canny Jack Russell, we tried other pet superstore games in the past but she figured them out in seconds and they were very poorly made. This is really well made of a durable material which is also eco friendly so that’s a plus. I like that there are two different things she has to do to get the treats as it keeps her thinking for longer. It’s good that although she knows how to get them it relies on her using dexterity as well as problem solving when one of the fish fins has swung over, stopping others from being moved until she moves it back. I bought this with another from the range but this is definitely her favourite and challenges her more. She goes potty every time I get the box out! 100% recommend.

The negatives :flaps get in the way of the sliding circle cups a bit.Can be tricky to clean, I soak it in hot soapy water so it gets to the bits human hands can't.Otherwise this is one of the better enrichment toys. They will figure it out by the end of the first go, but still enjoy the few minutes it takes to get the treats.They equally love a box with scrunched up paper in it that they have to find the treats in, or a snuffle hunt in the garden

Wolfy can do this puzzle easily but Coda the labradoodle takes much longer to work it out. If you push the little flaps over the holes it gives it a different level of difficulty too. It's robust, looks nice and doesn't get dirty as I use Pet Munchies training treats, although I might put liver paste in to make it last longer with Wolfy! Having said that, he's always very pleased with himself once he's done it & sits back looking smug.

My dog really loves this and I'm glad that I bought it for her but I wish that it had more variation in the challenge! She worked it out so long ago, I think she only does it for a laugh now 😆 and the treats, of course 😉. X

Always looking for things to occupy my springer spaniel. I wondered if he would lose interest but to my surprise he can't get enough of the hide n slide. As a level two it meant moving two things in order to get some treats and he got it in seconds. To save on treats and doggy calories I don't put a treat in every section so he has to search harder. He is quite a big boy and gives the controls a good battering and it stays in one piece. Keeps him mentally stimulated and I am very pleased with it. Have already bought the level 3 version for when he gets bored. A good buy.

We bought this to give a bit of a challenge to our puppy. He can manage this puzzle however we set it up but he loves it so it is still used most days. If he is getting bored and starting to eye up socks or things he shouldn't have he will stop if I put kibble into this toy and once he has found all the pieces he doesn't go back to the socks. A great buy.

I am not using this foraging puzzle toy for dogs therefore cannot comment on its sturdiness or durability, budgies could never develop such strength as a dog could. However, it looks sturdy and the plastic is lightweight but appears to be very strong. All parts are moving easily that even a small bird can push and pull with its beak and successfully use this toy for the purpose it was built. It looks easy to clean as well. I would definitely recommend this puzzle toy for any animal that can learn to use it.

Really good game and seems really solid. A bit easy. I use it on a 1-year-old Shetland sheepdog and he figured it out pretty quickly. But still a nice toy

Worth the money, as this puzzle has been used so many times by our dog and our puppy. They get excited when it comes out for play everytime. Plus, even now they've worked it, they always enjoy the puzzle.
