Great sound I love the Amp and I am selling my other 4. two fenders a Carvin V3 and a Nace. But... not happy that 3 days and about 4 hrs of playing and one of the 6L6 tubes went out. I was about to order a complete set for it when I bought it because of several reviews I saw complaining about the tubes but at the last min. decided to wait and here I am 3 days later buying a set of tubes. ugh... Really love the clean sound and virtually no hum at higher levels. very quiet amp. giving it a 4 star because of the tubes. ohh and I later bought a fx2000 and a FBC1010 foot controller and wow is it hard to get setup and no instructions on website maybe sending them back since I cannot get the foot switch to work with the FX2000.

Heavy! But decent for price.
I’m going to try to be as fair as I can. Would first like to say this is a good app. Some solid clean toned, I do wish the dirty channel was a little more crunchy year. But it does the job. This is probably the best looking and I’ve ever seen. Out of any Marshall, fender. One of the best liking amps I like is the “Orange” tube amp and as fas a looks I’ll that this over that any day. I guess the thing I have with this amp because I’ve heard of Different tube amps that really pump out some good warm tones. This one is just ok. But for the siZe and heavy, and ohh my goodness this is definitely one of the most heaviest amps ever. I was so surprised with only one 10” speaker in the back it’s super heavy! So with that I was expecting this thing to blow others out the water! So it’s not great, but for the money, it’s decent. But boy is it heavy!

Great clean channel
After one misfire with an amp that blew a fuse and a long time getting in touch with the US sales rep for warranty work (Amazon refused to take it back for reasons that both I and MusicTribe find arbitrary, indefensible and illogical), I finally received am amp that worked. The gain channel has that weird buzzy fizz that a lot of gain channels on combo amps, but the clean channel is nice and throaty - probably closer to Marshall than Fender or Vox - and takes to pedals very well. I put an Electro-Harmonix East River Drive in front and it crunched it nicely. Docked one star for the gain channel.

This became a GREAT BASS COMBO AMP
Recieved this amp , unpacked, and my buddy came over and hooked up his guitar and played for about 2hrs , sound was great.. next day it was rime to upgrade , I purchased this amp for a fender P bass guitar, steps to begin the upgrade,,, removed all the tubes and replaced the (2) 6L6 with RCA BLACK TOPS also replaced the (3) 12AX7 to RCA black plate go getters, next was time to remove the speaker and installed a Eminence Legend BP122 bass speaker 250 watt 8 ohm final was to add speaker stuffing along side walls and added a 1/4 inch 13 inch high back board and added speaker stuffing to it mounted to rear .. fired up and start playing at first it was ok then about 3 days of practicing. it tightened up bass rich and deep the mids clear clean and highs crisp . we loved the sound it was producing...it’s was exactly what we needed and wonted, don’t forget the tube dampeners, the next test was how does it stack up with the other MFGS TUBE bass amps. WE PACKED UP AND Drove to Guitar center, and BEGAN THE A /B FIRST Orange THEN Ampeg And FINALLY Fender, it was as good and in some cases slightly better sounding , the bass was deep and cleanEven the store associates could not believe what this amp was producing clean and tight.Best part my total investment $650.00 very happy for my upgraded TUBE combo bass guitar amp. I WOULD RECOMMEND this amp....what a little work a few dollars

So Close to Being a Decent Amp
It is a decent amp for the money tonewise. Clean channel anyways. Drive channel is buzzy and weak. The big problem, however, is that this amp is called the "Infinium" because it is supposed to have some super amazing technology that makes your tubes last a really long time and tells you when they are failing. After two gigs one of the 6L6s failed. Light went on. It is REALLY difficult to get the tube cage off. God forbid it would happen at a gig. I pulled the cage and the failed tube was the opposite one from the warning light. It was clearly blown. When I went to pull it the glass came of of the socket into my hand. I don't know what type of carcinogens I am currently covered in but it is not good. My fingers are burning and not because the tube was hot. This is at least my 20th tube amp so I knew to let it cool down completely before removing. Thinking about going to Urgent Care. This is bad. Don't even know how to contact Customer Service, probably through my lawyer at this point.

I'm very happy with this amp
All the positive reviews are true. I got my V55 delivered yesterday and played it all afternoon. The tone and response is as clean as any Fender or Mesa Boogie I've ever played on.The high gain channel is a little raunchy for me. But that's usually the case in my opinion. I wasn't expecting much from that..I bought this amp for clarity and tone. I also wanted the triode/pentode switch for recording and practicing experimentation..So far, the Triode switch causes it to sound a little starved. But maybe a little tweaking of the volume and master would fill it out..Overall, I'm very happy with this amp. I'll be ordering the V22 next week to pair as a stereo rig. And for the option of lower wattage recording. And its a beautiful looking piece. The online photos don't do it justice.>>>UPDATE 4/25/2019 <<<<I still love the amp.. I wound up buying a second v55 to run stereo cause I'm spoiled and picky..Kinda wish I'd gotten the v22 instead, just for tonal flexibility..The 1 amp I got at a $50 discount as "used" had both power tubes fail within a month.I easily replaced the tubes for $50 and they've both worked great for 4 years..This is a great, clean, tonal tube amp for a great price.Be prepared to work on it now and then ❤❤

It's great for the price at $315
It's great for the price at $315, cheaper than the $450 every other vender sells for. Itlooks nice and build quality seems good. Musically the gain channel in nice for a vintage still amp, definitely not a high gain amp. The clean channel I felt was lifeless and sterile. It did sound good with pedals, chorus, reverb and what not. But what doesn't. Basically a nice affordable amp, that did nothing better than my other amps.

Super acquisto

Only downside is the cage around the Valves . I had to remove the speaker to get at all the screws its now left off

Pleasently surprised.
Being a giving guitarist for over 20 years and gone over to digital technology for live performances, I was looking for a practice amp with a vintage flavour for home use only. I was put off initially from buying Bugera as it was not a big name producer. However, after researching the V series amps I thought why not, I can always send it back?I can honestly say I'm glad I didn't. Amp has a great vintage tone, easy to set up and use and with more volume than I would ever use. As for tones, think more of the Rolling Stones than Guns and Rose and you won't go far wrong.

An absolutely a gem of an Amplifier, much better than I expected. Very versatile for many styles of playing. Highly recommended.

Great amp
Overall this is a good amp that compares to some higher priced ones like the fender range, don't get me wrong. it's not my go to amp but for the price it's a excellent value for someone on a budget & will serve you well.
