I purchased HD 600s back in Dec of 2020. I wanted a smooth sound for r&b/hiphop, and did not want to do closed back. I'm currently powering them with the HBA4BL by Fostex. This cable really made a difference, and makes me feel like I didn't get robbed by sweetwater telling me to purchase the wrong setup.

So far no issues with this cable, it really makes a difference when using it with my THX AAA 789 balance output compared to the SE connection. It makes everything sound louder and more clear without losing any quality. Would like to try some other brands of 4 pin xlr cables in the future, but if you want a more budget alternative to the Sennheiser CH 650S cable, this could be it.

I was hesitant in getting these because people say balanced cables don't do anything for the sound. There is a noticeable difference in the quality of the sound from my experience. I am using these with the Drop Sennheiser HDXX.

Got them and tested them today, first time ever with balanced headphone cables. My first listening choice was ONE by U2 from Amazon Music, Ultra HD. The Monoprice THX AAA dac/amp, connected to Sennheiser HD6XX via these cables are amazing. I could hear Bono's breathiness right up on the mic. ...No, these cables aren't magic, nor have they been baptized in unicorn tears, but, a quality headphone experience is only as good as it's weakest link. These cables are not the weak link. Quality of construction and materials is definitely there. Glad I made this purchase, no regrets, I'd buy again and would recommend.
