Well made and looks great.
This is the perfect size for the small kitchen in our little cabin. The storage is perfect and the granite top is so easy to keep clean. It allowed me to move some things from the counters, for more room. I'm really happy with the quality of the island. The wheels are a good size and it's easy to move the island where it's needed. Directions were easy to follow. I did need to make about 4 screw holes a little deeper to make it easier to get the screws into the wood to attach the shelf. Otherwise all holes matche up and no problems with assenbly. I have no issue with how the granite top fits onto the cart because the top is very heavy and is stable. Drawer and basket guides were level and they functioned as expected. I did put the drawer in from the wrong side, so the drawer stop didn't work, and the drawer didn't close. User error. No problem when I switched sides! It took me a lot of searching to find one the exact size I needed. I highly recommend this island/cart if you have a small space.

Best microwave cart I've ever bought.
This has to have been the easiest assembly I've ever done. It took about 45 minutes while watching tv. All drilled holes lined up perfectly during assembly. I used the allen wrench (provided), and my own phillips screwdriver. While I agree with a previous review that it would be nice if there were white plugs for the screw holes, their absence isn't that big of a deal for me. It looks very nice and is more than sturdy enough for my microwave/convection oven. I have paid much more and gotten far less quality for other carts I've purchased in the past. The top I received is white/gray/black with no brown at all. It has a slight overhang from the base of the cart itself (little less than an inch). Being granite, it is heavy but not overly so. I think the weight of it makes the cart even more solid. The drawer is 2-3/4" deep, measured on the inside of the drawer to the top of the drawer front, sides and back. It is the perfect size for my trivets and hot pads. The wire basket is pretty sturdy. The clearance between inside the wire basket and the bottom of the front rail of the bottle shelf is abought 7-3/4" . If you went any higher and I think you would have difficulty clearing the bottle shelf when sliding the basket out. The clearance between the bottom of the wire basket to the top of the bottom shelf is about 8-1/4" . Much higher and easily pulling out the basket probably would be a problem.e The wheels are a hard rubber and two of the four are locking. When installing, they do need to be pushed in until the snap in place so they don't fall out when you turn the cart over to complete assembly. I am very pleased with this cart and would certainly buy this again. I highly recommend it for the price and quality.

Elegance on a budget
Wanted something relatively compact for our newly remodeled kitchen and this seemed to fit the bill perfectly. At the seventy-four dollar price, wasn't expecting much but was shocked at the quality that was delivered. First, there is a lot of real wood in this product even though some reviewers seem to think it's pressboard. Without the granite top, the unit is very lightweight, a sign of wood versus manufactured materials. Speaking of the granite top - ours is slightly blemished so was likely taken from a larger piece that couldn't be sold as a full countertop but the blemish is slight and doesn't bother us. The top is HEAVY and it's weight is all that holds it on (it is positioned by two dowel pins). Several people complained that there was no drawer stop. Well, now there is. It's a very simple device but it works fine unless you heave on the drawer to open it and then you might go right by the plastic stop. Assembly was straight forward, good detailed drawings but no verbal instructions. Each piece has a ID sticker on it so kind of hard to use the wrong part. I do always recommended a good quality wood glue on every assembled joint and any dowel pins. It will only serve to make the unit even stronger than it already is. Very rich final appearance, people would never guess the price of this. My wife is very happy with it so that's really all that matters.

First class! Item was well packaged, and received in a timely manner. The wood is nicely finished, all the pilot holes are correctly drilled, everything lines up neatly. The cart is solid, the granite top is smooth. The only two observations I have regarding details that are slightly less than perfect are as follows. First, the drawer is a bit tight on the top edge, making it a bit stiff to move. This will either wear down on its own, or I can sand it down and apply a fresh coat of finish on that part. I'll wait a bit before deciding, to see if the issue resolves on its own. Second, for my tastes the wire drawer is too low. There is no need to have that big a gap between it and the wine rack unless you are going to put things in the drawer that are higher than the drawer itself. This is easily corrected if the user is handy, and the support tracks for the wire drawer can be screwed in closer to the bottom of the bottle holding rack. Overall, this is a very nice piece of kitchen furniture, with good quality wheels and nice looking materials. Recommended.

After reading some of the previous reviews, I was skeptical about this purchase. Some say it didn't assemble properly, or that assembly was hard etc. Also there were comments about missing pieces and quality. So I took a leap of faith when purchasing this Kitchen Island. Needless to say, I give it a five star in all categories. For me to actually take time to send a photo is a testament to how I really feel about this purchase. I dont like to waste my time, but this product impressed me. Solid value all around. Bob

It saves me a lot of counter space and I am really pleased with the result. But some of the spots in the wood parts are not well made, we've seen a lot of imperfections and scratches. I guess we just pay for the granite. Granite top makes it really elegant looking though. I only put 4-stars because the instructions for assembly is not clear+the finished of the wood is not properly varnished and or drilled. During assembly my husband was really not happy but after it stands we both are pleased. I shall suggest a closed finished for varnishing and whole drilling. I do recommend this. It's very classy and it does it's job to clean up a cluttery kitchen.
