Nice and stable
After using these bookends for a while, they have done the job and continue to do the job, I was worried they might start bending, but no, they have been holding up the heavy books. The design is nice and and the build material is good.

More decorative than useful
I love the look of these but unfortunately they struggle to hold up any significant weight of books. I have 7-8 books currently between the two stands and if there is any movement in the room they fall over.
