Such a helpful gardening tool!
We are gardening at our home where gravel has been used as ground cover for 20 years and has settled down two feet into the soil. This device had allowed us to separate soil from gravel to provide a hospitable environment for trees while saving the gravel to be reused to hold moisture in the soil. The screen with the largest holes lets soil and pea gravel through, saving the large 3/4 Desert Gold gravel. Sifting into buckets allows for an easy second sifting to get pea gravel out of soil. Lowes told us that in a perfect world this kind of thing would exist!

The set is as represented
I use the sifter for sifting my potting soil for starting seed in my greenhouse. The set does an adequate job for this purpose.

Not what I expected.
But definitely not a bad purchase. Works as intended just the hole sizes weren't what I needed for my current project.

Worth the price.
I received my sifter set in a bubble envelope, I really hope that Amazon adds more packaging to this product. That being said it arrived safely with no damage! I saw some some complaints about the screens not snapping into place. I was pleased to find that the screens do “pop” into place! (It works best if you press on opposite sides of the screen while placing it into the ring) If you make sure to apply pressure around the border of screen it should pop into place. I shook it upside down and tapped on the middle back of the screen, it only came loose once I put pressure on one of the edges of the screen to push it out. In the future I may add a hole or two so I can insert a pin to hold in the screen. I like the variety of screens as I plan to use this for composting. Overall I’m happy with my purchase!

Works well
It's nice with the different sizes and works as advertised. No issues or complaints from me.

Too soon to rate product
Ground is wet from rain. It is compact. Seems well made. Having a little difficulty seating the screen. One edge is resistant. Came very quickly. Looking forward to using it.

Smaller than I expected it to be..
It's a lot smaller than I expected it to be, about the size of a standard dog dish, so filtering a large amount of soil takes a while. All three of the screens were packed together so tightly inside the frame that I almost sent it back (and they should have been packed separately). I didn't figure out how to separate the screens from the frame until days later (I had to hit the screens pretty hard for them to dislodge and pop out). It didn't come with instructions, it was just boxed with bubble packaging.

Very Nice Sieve
Quite sturdy. I used it to sieve gravel from a fish tank to remove the plant substrate, so I was sending wet rock through, and had no issues with the frame bending or the sieves bowing under heavy weight. The screens pop quite securely into the frame. They can be a bit awkward to get out, but I prefer that to a loose screen that might allow material to sneak around the sides. It is rather small, so maybe not the best choice for larger outdoor garden projects, but this is the perfect size for potted plants, crafts, and other miscellaneous things that need to be size sorted.
