This is not what I expected, but it turns out to be the fruit from which my favorite childhood candy, "Shanza Phing" is made from. The dehydrated berries are sour. It requires boiling in water to soften, and I added honey. It tastes good. I like it this form because it is not dyed red like the candies are. I wonder why the candy maker always add red dye; maybe because Chinese like red color. I wish the maker would make "Shanza Phing" without the red dye. This dehydrated form is just as good.

Very delicious. Makes a great tea. And good value, too. I will definitely buy again!

Trash！They crushed the seeds. The crushed seeds broke one of my teeth! I had spent several hours sitting there picking out those tiny pieces of crushed seeds by hand! I thought I had cleaned them all up! After cooking, when I ate them, they broke my tooth! Hawthorn seeds are as hard as stones! Don't buy！！！Hate the stpd people who crushed seeds！👎

This dried hawthorn makes very tasty tea supplement. It can also be used as seasoning for stew for breaking down tough meat, and adding some acidic tastes. It would earn the 5-star, if pitted.
