Works Great!
I recently tried out the GHodec Grow Light for my indoor plants, and it's been a game-changer! 🌱✨ The full spectrum white light from the 84 LEDs provides the perfect lighting conditions for my plants to thrive. 🌞🌿 The 4/8/12-hour timer feature is super convenient, as I can easily set it and forget it. Plus, the 5 dimmable levels allow me to adjust the brightness to suit the needs of different plants. 🌼💡 It's really user-friendly and versatile! Not only does this grow light promote healthy plant growth, but it also looks sleek with its clip design. I can easily attach it to various surfaces and adjust the angle to direct the light exactly where it's needed. 🌟📌 I've noticed a significant improvement in my plants since using the GHodec Grow Light. They're greener, lusher, and seem to be thriving even in areas with limited natural light. 🌿🌞 It's definitely a must-have for any indoor plant enthusiast or someone looking to give their plants an extra boost of light. 🌱💚 Overall, I highly recommend the GHodec Grow Light for its full spectrum white light, convenient timer, dimmable levels, and sleek design. It's a fantastic investment for anyone wanting to support the healthy growth of their indoor plants. 🌼🌿 Check it out!

Reliable and Bright
Defiantly LED lights and BRIGHT! It is simple and straight forward to use (even without instruction manual, but I still suggest taking a peak JUST in case). In two or three click's time, you can have yourself a reliable TIMED indoor growing light for germinating indoors and continuing growing seedlings until they are ready for the outdoors. The clip makes it easy to have them hang from the sides of bookshelves or desk or whatever place you so desire.

OK light for the price, but not as bright as they insinuate. Can not use external timer.
I purchased several brands of these to test for potential use over a small frag rack in my reef tank. Here are my findings taking light measurements at different distances. I found this unit to have about the same output as another cheaper brand, “bseah”, but this one has whiter light. Measurement Equipment: Apogee SQ-500 Quantum Sensor -Selectively measures Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR) -Measurement units: umol/m2/s Watts of power consumed: 7.6 Measured PAR @ 5inches: 97 (less than 1sq ft coverage) Measured PAR @ 2inches: 264 (less than 0.5 sq ft coverage) Measured at recommended 20 – 30cm: 25 (quite useless unless supplementing good ambient light) Conclusion: At full power this would need to be verry close to most houseplants to be adequate. Also, low level lighting like this really should be on for at least 16 hours, but the timer only works up to 12 hours. You can not use an external timer because when power is interrupted it loses all memory function and resets to off, does not come back on. This is the biggest deal breaker for me and took one star off because of it. Otherwise it would be an ok light for the price. Most tropical houseplants may actually do better if you left this light on 24/7 than 12 hours. There have been studies done on this and equatorial tropical plants tend to do well with 24/7 lighting. This may be bad for short day flowering temperate plants though. For reference plants need (PAR in umol/m2/s ): Very Low-Light Houseplants (Begonia pavonina) 20–40 Low-Light Plants (African Violets, Tropical Begonias) 40–80 Moderate-Light Houseplants (Low-light Aroids like Anthuriums and Pothos) 80–150 High-Light Houseplants (Tropical Succulents like Christmas Cactus, Philodendrons, Monstera) 150–350 Very High-Light Houseplants (Tropical Trees like Chocolate, Citrus, etc) 350–600 Full-Sun Plants (Cannabis, Fruiting Trees/Shrubs, Eucalyptus, Desert Cacti) 600–2,200 Soft Corals (zoanthids, palythoa, mushrooms and leathers): 50-150 PAR LPS Corals: 50-150 PAR Hard Corals (stony corals, small polyp stony): 200-500 PAR

Great for the price
Now if I could give it 4.5 stars I would. The lights do work. Of course I bought two sets and are using both for my English Ivy that was inches from death (I took the photos today which was 10 days after buying and it has a lot of new growth in the middle of each stem that wasn't there 10 days ago). I did take readings with my light meter if anyone wanted to know. 40umols at 3.5 inches for a single light and 40umols at 6.25 inches for two lights right next to each other (readings taken in a room that is in complete darkness to not skew results). So I would say that for the price these are great. Now the reason I would give it a half star is because this light can't be 50 watts. In reality it is 10 watts (5v @ 2a = 10w). If it was 50w it would probably need better heat dissipation. Look at 25w led grow lights from makers like GE and they will have heat sinks. I might experiment a higher amp power supply and modifying each light with heat sinks to see if I can get it to be brighter. I was skeptical at first on whether it would be bright enough to get much growth because it didn't look to be bright enough to me. It probably wouldn't be great for direct sunlight plants but I would recommend if you wanted it for indirect sunlight plants.

Good quality
Love these lights. I have several for my plants and they have lasted for years, so I bought another when I saw it on sale. Timer is easy to use.

UPDATE
Unfortunately I have been trying to make these work for almost a year now but I’m starting to accept that no matter what I do they will not work again. They were so great for about 2 months but what seemed to be DAYS after the return window closed, they magically stopped working at all. I would definitely only buy one and see if you have better luck. I hate leaving bad reviews but it makes me sad how they didnt work out for me. On the good side, the timer was great and convenient; the brightness was very good, and then overall job they did was helpful to my plant babies. I hope other people have a better experience! The seller reached out to me and gave me a partial refund for the items. They were very kind and made up for both lights not working. I changed my review from 1 star to 5 solely on customer service. It’s inevitable to have every product work perfectly; I was just one of the few unlucky ones. I will be shopping with them again though now that I know how helpful they are.

Stopped working
Worked fine until it didn’t (6 months later). Wouldn’t turn off and now it won’t turn on.

Great for wintering succulents
I bought this light to help my succulents and succulent cuttings thrive better in the winter. I don't have great natural light even near windows in my very small apartment. The bendable lights work perfectly on my plant shelves... I clipped it to the lower shelf, and was easily able to orient one light over the lower shelf and the other over the cuttings on the upper shelf. I do like that the cord is quite long. I haven't used the timer yet... I admit I didn't bother reading the directions. I just turn on the lights on the morning and turn them off on the evening. I can't speak to whether that works or is easy to program. My plants immediately reacted to the light and are thriving. I expect a better yield of healthy cuttings. I don't know why I didn't try something like this earlier, I've always just dealt with my plants fading a bit when I had to bring them inside. I'm already ordering another one of these inexpensive lights hoping to herb pots in my little kitchen, something I never thought I could do inexpensively. One small last thing... The lights aren't decorative, which you know already. There are other options that cost a lot more that might integrate into your environment seamlessly. They aren't for a large coverage area either. But if you need small lights to keep your plants thriving, I can't recommend enough!
