Is this possible? Is the mounting hardware on the back of the mirror removable?** A: The bracket on the back of the mirror is attached with three screws so it appears to be detachable. You could then attach it relatively flat with two sided tape or perhaps by drilling a hole in the back and hanging it on a screw or nail. **Q: How rigid is the ball mount, can it withstand the movement/vibration of being mounted to the back of a garage door?** A: The ball mount is pretty rigid. However, its intended use is to be stationary. I would imagine it would hold up well.
