I started working out many years ago and have been in gyms quite a bit. These weights, while non-Olympic are of professional quality. This is the type of plate than any reputable gym would use for its non-Olympic sets. This is the type of plate that is used in many dumbbell sets. In fact I purchased a total of 16 of the 10Lb plates. I also purchased 4 of their 2 1/2 lb plates. (this order and a subsequent one I liked them so much I purchased more!) Now, I can set my dumbbells up to 85LBS each. I cannot praise this product enough!!!!!!!!!

I like these plates because they're narrow and have a drilled (or machined) 1" hole for the dumbbell handles. These weights are more expensive than the cheaper cast weights, but the cheaper cast weights have holes that are part of the casting, meaning that the holes are not always straight and "square" with the plate. This means that they don't always stack squarely on the dumbell handles. But these plates stack "square" and tight on the handles and don't rattle or shake loose during use.

These plates are perfect. They fit my standard bar perfectly. The weights are accurate. And the fact that they look so smooth and clean is also a plus. You really can't go wrong with these.

20lbs metal plates. Simple as that. Paint job looks like it was done on the fly but who cares. The Weight on the plate is what you get. A good and cheap way to make 100 lbs dumbbells.

What a waste of money, I ordered these weights for my standard size dumbells and the hole in these weights is too small to fit my dumbells. I guess beware all this cheap stuff coming from China

A 10 pound weight is a 10 pound weight. My problem is that the holes in the 2 plates I ordered were not the same. While both fit fine on my full length bar, only one of the two would fit my dumbell handles. Had both not fit I would have assumed the problem to be the DB handle, but one would fit and one would not leading me to the conclusion that the plates were not milled the same.

I bought these weights because they were the lowest priced that I could find on Amazon. With that distinction, I wasn't necessarily expecting a great product. However, I was pleasantly surprised. For my barbell sets, these weights work great (I got 4, 5lbers). No chips, no scratches, and after jumping on my scale with them, they are true to their 5lb weight. Definitely a great purchase.
