Does this game have a good and interesting story line? and does it look good?

The game looks amazing....the story line is short and its the actions are limited and repetitive. It would be a lot cooler if you could venture off into the world but you can't.

Does this game have free roam

No, the game is fairly linear. (Some maps give you a limited degree of exploration) however, this does not detract from the game and I believe that it enhances the narrative. (Usually free-roam games are quite shallow due to the developer's need to fill it to the brim with content) so this game is very focused on the story and that story is of high quality.

Is this hack and slash like God of War?  Is there any thinking involved?

Not really. You have a sword and a shield, "X" uses your sword and "Y" uses the shield. There really aren't combos to speak of other than going back and forth with a combination of your sword and shield. Some enemies require a "heavy" attack where you hold in "X" or "Y" and it will break their guard.  You hit"B" to do a roll move, which you will need to do for some enemies. It's a beautiful game though and the multiplayer is pretty fun if you have a friend to play with. Worth it if you can find it used.

How long did it take to install yours? Mine's going on 5 hours, and it isn't installed enough to actually start a game.

Short Answer: It should be ready soon. But, there's another wait within the game for the campaign level you start to install/load that takes around 10-20 minutes. Long answer: Ryse averages 7-10 hours for full install (depending on internet speed for required updates) and should be Ready to Start at or around 50%. Keep in mind, that will allow the game to boot to the menu, but there is an additional wait within the game after it is started for the campaign level to load/install. I was able to get to the Ready to Start screen at about the 5 hour mark. When I noticed the additional loading screen within the game for the campaign to load, I decided my best option was to let it fully install before playing. I was completely done after a total 9 hours with 3 mbps download speed through Time Warner Cable.
