Amazon Essentials Women's Mid-Rise Slim Fit 4" Denim Shorts

I don’t know if it’s because my butt isn’t big enough or what, but I bought my usual size (medium) and there’s so much baggage between my legs and butt that it clicks (literally!) I found that it doesn’t happen when I don’t wear my belt, but then I’m having to pull them up all day 😭 I freaking love these shorts though! The pockets are really deep and handy, the belt loops are spaced out nicely, and they hold up through rigorous (I mean RIGOROUS) labor and play. The thickness is perfect, and they’re stretchy too! They don’t ride ( might be because they’re too big on me, but I didn’t have a problem with picking wedgies) and the length of the shorts are long enough to stay cool while not showing any of your upstairs area. If you’re on the skinnier side and usually wear a medium, I’d size down to a small. Super comfortable shorts otherwise though! I’m gonna get another pair in small, lol!

My teen daughter just got this a week ago and was very hesitant on this purchase because she likes to try on clothes before purchasing but went ahead with the purchase anyways. They fit great and are comfortable and cute. The sizing was correct which is rare and the material is great. Perfect for the hot weather and very affordable. Not too short which she was happy about. Just came out the washer and dryer(delicates on low) and still in the same shape as when purchased. The color didn't fade or bleed which definitely was a plus. She is happy with the product and if she's happy so am I! Affordable and worth the spend. I would recommend this product for sure. She's also thinking of getting another pair in a different color so have to check and see if they come in different colors. The product color was denim (blue).

After reading some other reviews, I decided to size up two sizes so I got a size 18…..which was waaaaay too big! I returned it and got a size 14 which fit much better. I’m normally a size 12 in other brands although for this Amazon brand I think I may be between sizes because I think a size 12 would be a bit too tight, but the size 14 is just a bit too loose…I’d rather have a little bit too loose though. They’re comfy, not as stretchy as some other brands and definitely not as soft, but for the price they work well for what I need. I washed and dried it on normal settings and the rolls didn’t come undone and they didn’t shrink as far as I can tell.Edit: I’ve washed these twice so far and it still has a faint chemical smell. It’s not overpowering, but I can definitely smell it…in case you have a sensitive nose.

I wasn’t sure what to expect or whether I even had the right size…but these shorts are amazing for the price! They feel high quality and are comfortable. Kind of smell like moth balls when you first open the package but I think it’ll go away with first wash. I like how these are a little longer but not as long as Bermuda shorts. I am really happy with this purchase and would definitely buy again. For reference, I am 165 lbs (7 months postpartum), 5’8”, I wear a 6 in Abercrombie jeans and a size 10 in Target shorts. I ordered at 12 taking a shot in the dark and it was spot on.Just ordered a second pair in another color, same size. These shorts really *are* perfect.

So comfortable, I ordered a size too big but it still feels great. The shorts feel quality— not plasticy or cheap. The shorts stretch well and they are a perfect length! Pockets are deep and well stitched.The color is true to picture and keeps it color after many washes!

For the price I guess they’re decent but I have a few pairs of Jean shorts I rotate through. These started shredding in the inner thigh in less than a year. My other shorts are still going strong with no shredding in sight. I finally remembered to stop and write this review.They’re a great fit and price if you aren’t planning to heavily wear them. If you are, you may want to look elsewhere.

I’m a US size 8. The reviews recommended going a size up and I am glad I did. I ordered these in a size 10 and they fit well. I am a medium build, with a little curvature after having 2 kids. Not extremely bodacious but not petite either. If you’re curvier or have bodacious glutes, maybe size up 2 sizes. They have a slight bit of stretch, not super short, and very flattering overall. I feel confident wearing these. Definitely plan to order the dark wash color next!

These do run small like other reviews have said so I ordered up a size and they are perfect and comfortable. I am 5'3" and weight around 165lb. I got a size 12 and they are just slightly roomy for those bloated days. I definitely recommend.
