So good I'm ordering another pair after 2.5 years
These are by far the best IEMs I've used to this date. Sound quality is wonderfully articulate and balanced, and they lasted 2 and a half years before I accidentally killed them with my dryer. I'm debating if there's any reason I shouldn't buy another pair. Sound: This will vary depending on your fit. I found these headphones to have a very balanced and somewhat analytical signature with rich mids. Highs are very clear and separated with little sibilance. Mid-bass is slightly boosted in a pleasant way, but sub bass is slightly anemic. Soundstage and imaging is very good for an IEM, I'd say even better than the ATh-M50x. The balance is somewhat reminiscent of my HD598, but with more treble extension. Design and features: These are very well-designed headphones for the price. Comfort is quite good, although the casing can be a little wide if you have small ears - they aren't the most comfortable I've used, just good. The cable is covered in a durable, knot-resistant material (it will still tangle, but not as badly as a rubber-coated wire), and the headphones and jack are made from milled aluminum. This pair doesn't come with a controller for Android/iOS, which would a nice addition, but I didn't think it was worth paying an extra $30 for the C version. They come with a nice protective case and a huge choice of tips - more than I've received with any other IEM. Durability: These lasted over 2 years and survived multiple trips through the washer with no ill effects. During my time owning them, the wires never frayed or knotted, the earbuds never fell apart, and the jack never separated from the wire despite regular tugging on the cable. I've never been able to keep a pair of IEMs for anywhere near that long, so I give the highest marks to these for durability. Overall, I can't recommend these enough. I'm nervous to buy anything else and risk getting an inferior headphone - that's how good these are.

Best IEMs under $100 - Sound is Incredible.
These are by far the best in ear monitors you can buy for under $100. In my opinion they are way under priced. The sound is incredibly clear and detailed. While there is definitely enough bass, this model offers a balanced sound signature. If bass is your top priority, the Soundmagic E50 may be a better choice. The E80's, on the other hand, provide a nice, balanced sound that accurately reproduces music; it will sound the way the artist meant for it to. Another incredible feature is the soundstage. Music sounds open and spacious; some other IEMs sound like music is being crammed in your ear. As far as durability, I don't foresee these breaking anytime soon. The cord is made out of a durable plastic coating, the plug seems solid, and the Y joint seems well built. The E80's come with every type of ear tip you could need. The narrow bore tips seem to bring the bass and treble forward a little bit, while the Comply tips seem to cut off the highs a little. I found the wide bore tips to have the most balanced sound. The isolation is quite good as well, blocking out most noise. Similarly, they are more comfortable than other IEMs; I tend to forget I'm even wearing them. When I was looking at these before I bought them, I was a little concerned about the impedance being so high (64 ohms); I feared that they wouldn't sound very good on smartphones. I was pleasantly surprised that they work great on mobile phones and sound great. That being said, they sound quite a bit better plugged into a computer with a decent sound card, or a decent DAC/Amp. But all in all, they will sound great wherever your listening. Perhaps the only downside to these is that the L/R indicator bump (on the left side) is a bit small. All in all, these are great in ear monitors. They are a great option for those looking to get into the audiophile world, and in my opinion are the best you can buy for under $100. Maybe even under $200.

Well Done!
All I can say is Wow... I've owned Audio Technica, Shure, Sony etc. all approximately $100+ earbuds. These are almost just as good as the aforementioned in sound, separation and clarity. The low end is where these earbuds shine. The bass is nice and tight without having to sacrifice the midrange. The hard case is handy, the extra silicone buds ensures a good fit and the free Comply memory foam tips are great at increasing the low end and helps with noise isolation. The only complaint I have is that these need a lot of power from an external source. My SanDisk MP3 Player had the volume maxed out at the gym to provide enough volume. At home on my computer they are fine. These buds are highly recommended. They are a good deal @ $75. I even bought my girlfriend the M50s and she loves them.

Your ears will thank you.
I had no idea music sounded like this! Over the years all I've been using are whatever earbuds that came with whatever phones I've bought over the years. I do have an old pair of SkullCandy Titans that I thought were the pinnacle of sound since I purchased them a decade ago or so. So I've hardly used them over the years, wanting to keep them in good condition and using them sparingly. Once I started using whatever came with my phones I realized the Titans sounded like garbage. Now since I got my LG G8 I wanted to put this d.a.c. to good use since all the buds I have didn't seem to take advantage of it so after some research I purchased the E80's. And holy crap! Everything I own that I thought sounded great now sounds flat, hollow and washed out compared to the E80's. It feels like I'm hearing all the music I've been listening to all my life for the first time again. It's the audio equivalent of the first time you saw a 1080p display. This is HD audio. Everything is so crisp and clean. There is plenty of bass without drowning out everything around it. This is amazing. I left on the medium rubber tips that were already on them out of the box and they fit my ears perfectly so I can't comment on the Comply tips. I'm definitely getting a 2nd pair to keep in the box just in case something happens to this 1st pair. Very happy with these!

Already Malfunctioning Out of the Box
I just received these headphones about five minutes ago, and I'm extremely disappointed. I plugged them into my iPhone 6 and was immediately greeted with crackling noises. I figured maybe it was because they were new, but I turned on a video on YouTube and there was no sound, despite the headphones being firmly plugged in. I wiggled the plug a little bit (which I shouldn't have had to do, because again these are literally just out of the box) and the sound came out tinny, then in one ear, then in the other, and then cut out again. I had to play with the port just to get even sound, and the slightest movement or disturbance of the headphone plug would screw everything up-crackling, no sound, sound in only one ear, you name it. I purchased a pair of Soundmagic headphones about four years ago and they still work wonderfully to this day, I tried my old pair right after this and they work fine, so it's obviously not the phone. I'm going to be asking for either a replacement pair or a refund. Very, very disappointed to see the quality in a product take such a nosedive.

Like wow these are only $50 and yet they sound ...
I got my E80 today and after a couple hours of listening I'm completely blown away. Like wow these are only $50 and yet they sound absolutely breathtaking. Although I've owned mostly full sized headphones, I've owned the Noble 3U which is currently $400 and these can easily compete with it. Its difficult to compare the 3U and the E80 since the 3U is more V shaped and the E80 is more neutral, but I might even go as far as to say I prefer these over the 3U. The E80 is very neutral and slightly bright and it reminds me of the HD 600. You can pick out the clarity and the little details in the instruments and it's not fatiguing to the ears at all. Mids are very lush and highs are controlled to the point where it's not shrilling. Like the HD 600, not too much bass, just the right amount. I'm shocked at how good these IEMs sound for $50 and I'm surprised these are very rarely recommended. The E80 scales up with a better amp/dac as well, but they sound great out of a smartphone if you dont have one. Give it a try! The comfort is even better than the 3U and I would say the sound rivals the 3U depending on your signature preferences.

Strong cable noise
Earphones are probably good, but the cable noise is overwhelming. Not usable when walking. I managed to find some use mowing the lawn by routing the cable under my shirt. In quieter environment the cable noise is too much. I suspect this has something to do with the stiff cable. Maybe I got a bad batch. Should have opened the package before the return window expired.

Good sound for the price
These headphones produced pretty good quality audio, especially for a pretty affordable set of earbuds. I got them for use with my steam deck and work they great for it. The included case for the earbuds is even small enough to fit in the space underneath the elastic strap on the steak deck’s carry case, though it does bulge out a tiny bit.

Can't fault them at all, an absolute steal
Genuinely blown away by these earphones. I had RHA T20i's before this (originally cost me 3x as much), and for the all the detail they had, and verging on insane build quality, i realised i also found them insanely boring to listen to (slightly better through a macbook pro or amp - but i bought them for portability). These on the other hand retain the detail, but with a much fuller low end - but not one that overstates itself. The texture and detail in the bass is great - my daily drivers are FAD Pandora Hope VIs and right now i feel like the the e80s even pull out a bit of detail in the lows that the pandoras miss. Listening yesterday i found myself focused on the bass guitar lines, and just how real to life the tone felt. They're also capable of going as low and rumbling as you could want. Just make sure you get a good seal! They are quite bright on the top end, but i prefer that personally. The mids sound just incredible at times - plenty of air, soundstage and the rest. Without doubt the best in-ears i've ever heard. Build quality seems perfectly fine, they're quite unassuming all in all. So many earbuds to choose from in the box plus the comply tips (x3 - i personally am not a fan, they make sound too closed in to me but know plenty like them). Anyone looking for something that lets them get into audiophile territory at a, to be honest, steal, will be very happy with these. I'm scoping out some monoprice planar 1060s next, i'm really liking this coming approach of making outstanding audio products at a fraction of the competition mainstays, the market needs it! Maybe soundmagic should turn their hand in that direction too :D

Can't go wrong with Soundmagic
Great earphones for the value. I had a pair before this which I loved, thought I'd lost, replaced with a blue pair, then found again - so I'm happy enough to give money to this company to now own a spare pair. The sound is excellent, fitting is great and they look fairly stylish with the metal finish. I have used them with my phone, laptop and PS4/5. No issues with the former two, however in party chats on the PS, sometimes some distortion was heard. For listening to music, using them as earphones for the sound in games, etc. they are excellent. I would definitely recommend them.
