Dometic Coolmatic CR-1080E/F-S 2.8 Cu. Ft. 12/24V DC & 110/220V AC Built-In Refrigerator/Freezer

I purchased a Dometic Coolmatic CR-1080E/F-S 2.8 Cu. Ft. 12/24V DC & 110/220V AC Built-In Refrigerator / Freezervery disappointed with the bottom plastic latch it keeps hanging up when I want to open door. to open I need to open top latch and reach down to open bottom, very poor quality for a $1000 item please help, I hope its in for a redesign on the cheap plastic latch. I have note into Dometic I would stay away from this until they fix.
