If this chair does not give me the support I need, what is the cost of shipping to return?

I tried to return but was unable to take it apart. The cylinder does not come out without damaging it

How far back do the arm flip back? In the video it appears the arms stick out at the peak which may rub against the back or side of your arms.

They do rub against the back of my arms if I throw my shoulders back. They are not flush with the rim of the back, but more like the mesh sproingy part my back is on. I just assembled my chair. My chest is as broad as the back of the chair but my hips/thighs are not as wide as the seat. At the top it is 4 inches difference between the rim kf the back and the bottom most frontward tip of the arms in flipped up position. YMMV but for me, I wanted one arm for mousepad stuff and one arm out of the way. It has a plastic shell over the rotation point and it probably just a bolt the same as the rest that you assemble the chair with or some other simple machining. The arms are comfortable though, more so than my previous chair. I like the chair but this flip up arm jutting out is not comfortable if you are reclining.

How high are the armrests?

I can't find a measuring tape but they pretty compared to chairs I have had in the past that aren not adjustable. I personally like this because it allows your hands to hover on they keyboard. However if you are on the shorter side it cause you to have constantly shrugged shoulders. This chair in general is high off the ground. I am 6'4" and my feet almost dangle with it all the way up.
