AirTamer Negative Ion Generator Rechargeable Personal Air Purifier A310, Black

I suffer from a lot of Rhinitis and sereve allergy from cigarette smoke, pollution, strong aerosol smells. I bought this Airtamer. I really works...I wish I had this device all my life. Yesterday I walked on a busy polluted street for half an hour with the Airtamer around my neck, I did not have to take an antiallergy pill or spray yesterday. Odours and strong smells do not go away, but somehow I did not fall ill. I guess it prevents harmful irritants from entering the nostrils. Thank you Airtamer....Highly recommend.

Have received the Air Tamer A310 a couple of days back and have started using it immediately. Haven’t observed any change so far. Don’t know if it has helped. Waiting for some more time to find out if at all it does what it proclaims.

Useless product, side effects on face / mouth /tongue ,/ throat dryness fell uneasy to use. No benefit observed. Increase Asthmatic feelings. It may be suitable for very cold area, light emitting also note, harmful or not still under observation. I have used one month to know about the impact of product on health. Not recommend to other in india

AirTamer was delivered last week . I used it when I went to my office yesterday , the first day after lockdown opening . Found it very useful . I wore it round my neck , inside the collar . Gives you a feeling of safety. Great product

Delivery of product is in time. But still not able to confirm working of unit because we can not measure any parameter and we need to judge based on allergy protection.

Not sure if this product works, dont feel any smell of Ozone which happens during lightning (the says lightning produces the highest number of negative ions).The user manual for this product is also useless, they have the wrong set of languages, they have Hindi, but left out the South Indian languages - Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and have foreign languages like Chinese, Japanese etc instead, it does not make any sense as these are not spoken in India.There is no feeling of any air blowing, just some light blinks, so dont know for sure if the product is actually doing something. If there was some smell of Ozone, then we can be confident that this product works.A product selling for almost Rs 10000 should have got at least its documentation right - and that includes having the proper languages included in the manual - they really should includes Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam given that this product is selling in this region.I have purchased a similar product selling less than half of this price, certainly not this Airtamer, as I feel cheated by this price of Rs. 10000.

I do notice a difference when I'm wearing this device. I wish the cord looked more attractive and I should have purchased the white model and not the black. Everyone thinks I'm wearing a recording device so I'm explaining a lot. I find it looks ridiculous with my necklaces and dressy clothing but I wear it anyway. I find it's helpful for musty situations, pollen and even being around people who wear too many perfume or essential oils. You still smell them but it's not overpowering anymore. The unit doesn't work great on smoke but given the size you can't expect it to do everything. I do wish there was a little fan so the cleaner air would be circulated around my mouth and nose but I imagine that would make noise. I like how silent this device is. You can't hear a thing unless you put it up against your ear and then you hear the faintest push sound. I can use it beside my bed at night and not hear a thing. The light on the back makes use at night slightly less enjoyable but I put a piece of electrical tape over it and that solves that problem.The cord is the biggest con. It's ugly and doesn't feel the best against the skin. Kind of like carrying a used rope around your neck but you get used to it quickly.Wish there was a clip on the rechargeable version like there is on the battery powered one. Or at least the option. If it had a clip on the back of the unit I could clip it to my collars and hide the cord under my clothing for more discreet use.If you're expecting to a shot of crystal clean oxygen your expectations are too high. The purifier comes charged and I haven’t had to charge it since. Bought these for myself and family it is handy and light weight on the neck, peace of mind a little extra protection against pollutants and pollens when out. A bit pricey though.

I'm very sensitive to ozone so I had to first return an Air Supply Mini-Mate AS180 because the ozone was too much for me. This unit is perfect for me. I flew a roundtrip on United. No problem with airline staff. I am usually very much bothered by the jet fuel and engine fumes whenever I fly so I wanted an ionizer-purifier. I bought the AIrTamer at the beginning of Nov 2018. When I wore it to fly, I felt very well during my flights.Some reviewers were bothered by the cord but I decided to try this unit anyway even though I have very sensitive skin. Gratefully I was not bothered at all by the cord while I was flying. I also wear my unit from time to time when not flying and have on occasion 'adjusted' the cord. I guess I became 'aware' of it on my skin a couple of times but it was not painful or irritating. Perhaps there is some other factor involved, such as possibly the level of hydration of the wearer at the time. I am careful to be very well hydrated before flights.This unit is comfortable, light, effective, with excellent battery life. Love that it's rechargeable. I leave it hanging up charging in my car so it's with me whenever I need it. I like to use it in traffic when the road fumes really get inside the car. Worth it just for the car. Beats any passenger compartment air filter by a long shot.

Having this product reassures us that the air we are breathing is healthy, especially important whilst we are in a pandemic.

I wrote this review originally for the A302. I switched to the A310 about a year ago, mainly for the convenience of USB recharging instead of having to keep buying batteries. Otherwise the story is the same:Here's my complete factual experience with this product. You can draw your own conclusions.I originally bought the Airtamer for use on airplanes, as most do. I have flown Delta and American, and there has never been an issue with wearing it. Before I bought it I used to get sick regularly after traveling. In the years since I bought it, this has never happened again.I am also a teacher and getting older and more prone to illness. Four years ago I got sick 5 times during the school year. Three years I got sick 5 times before Christmas. So, I decided to try wearing the Airtamer at school as well as on airplanes, and began Jan. 1, 2014. As of Dec. 3, 2014, I have not had a cold since (knock wood!).I also noticed that, since I started wearing it daily, my usual allergies have been diminished. I find that if I have an allergy attack and turn on the Airtamer, the attack usually goes away with 10 minutes, often less.**Update 2/7/16: It has been more than 2 years now since I started wearing this every day. I'm superstitious and don't want to jinx it, so I'll just say that the story I tell above, as it relates both to allergies and to lack of illness, is, so far, unchanged.
