Get it!! Loved by active and lazy elderly cats alike!
I have a very VERY active young cat (was a kitten when I got this, still a ball of energy now) that absolutely loves to get into anything and everything. I also have a sweet elderly cat that isn't interested in most toys (would rather bat at something once and call it a day). Both of them love this treat maze! I've had this for roughly two years now and it still remains a favorite for both of them!! I only use it for putting treats in and not having it out all the time to keep it more special. They both seem equally engaged with it, it isn't too hard to fit paws in for my elder cat with arthritis, and it holds up to the chunky young adult (12ish pounds) that likes to play aggressively with his toys. He can drag it halfway across the room and the top doesn't come off. In fact, usually it stays mostly in place, it will move a little bit especially when they're both working on the same side, but unless he's going all out it'll stay in the general area I put it. If it was just my elder cat, I'm sure it would stay where I put it down. I have also accidentally kicked it a couple times and absolutely nothing happens to it. The quality of it is great. I love that I can customize the inside maze part and I think they enjoy having it change from time to time for a new challenge. It isn't super hard for them, but also not too easy and boring. Usually they'll get the easy treats out first in just a couple minutes, and then they'll be working at the hard to get to spots for a while. It will entertain them for at least 15 minutes, sometimes up to a half hour. Literally my only downside to this is on occasion a treat gets stuck and wedged under one of the maze walls. It's not that big of a deal, easy to dig out with a hand, but the cats are not able to get a wedged treat out no matter how long they work at it. (But hey, if you want your cat to stay busy for a long while just wedge a treat haha) It cleans easy. All the maze walls can be taken out and the base is a hard plastic with the green part being a thick rubber sort of material. Some soap and water and it's all clean, no spots for treats to get lost in and attract unwanted pests. I would recommend for any cat, active or not (this is one of the few toys that my elder cat wants to play with), and as long as they like treats they'll like this. It does a wonderful job at being an interactive toy for them.

Incorporates exercise and visual stimulation.
Definitely worth buying! Excellent product for feeding cats in a way that incorporates playful exercise and visual stimulation. The size fits perfectly in my pets play area. To keep my cat intrigued I add dry food to the puzzle three times a week. My pet eagerly engages with the fascinating design. Sometimes I rotate the puzzle which is easy to setup and use, so my cat can approach the puzzle from different angles.

Great for lazy treat-motivated cat
My 14-year-old Maine Coon cat hated this at first, but I love it, and it's growing on him. I got it because I work long shifts and wanted him to have a better variety of toys that would decrease his boredom. He's VERY much about food and treats, which is probably the only reason he warmed up to this. I started it out with an easy layout so he could gain confidence in solving the treat puzzle. He refused to use it in front of me at first, thinking he could act pathetic and I'd get the treats for him. I came home and he'd figured out how to take the lid off instead of just solve the puzzle x-D so now it's taped shut. I change the puzzle layout every week or two, and it entertains him for hours on and off. It also helps him eat his treats more slowly so he doesn't puke them up again. His overall attitude has improved since I've gotten him more complicated toys, too, I've noticed (he's never been a jerk, he just gets whiney and stressed). We've had this one a few months now. I should note I've only had it on carpet so not sure if it slides around on smooth floors. I absolutely recommend this product for entertaining kitties.

Great toy for my puzzle master cat!
My smart cat loves this toy! He is very treat-motivated and has gone from not knowing how to play with toys, to a puzzle toy master over the past 3 years, thanks to toys like these. This toy is fab because you can customize and change it to suit your cat’s difficulty level, as well as just changing it up so your cat can’t memorize the easiest way to solve the board. I let him try it on “level 1” listed on the box, then quickly upgraded to “level 3” the same day, and it takes him a while but he can get out every treat! Perfect. The quality of this toy is also very nice. The green board is a soft matte material that gives the treats a little bounce. It’s not just a hard plastic. And it’s a perfect size and slightly smaller than I had imagined, which is good, because his toy’s take up most of our living room floor. I read reviews about treats getting “stuck” in the corners where there is no opening for the cat to claw or bat them out, but this was not a problem for my cat. He somehow can manage to get them out of every nook and cranny, even when I didn’t think he would have been able to reach them. I put in a variety of treat sizes and textures, and the smaller ones seem to take him longer to fish out. Amazing toy, and cute and fun to watch! Also very easy to remove the plastic cover to clean. The only thing I wish could be a little sturdier are the white plastic “obstacle” pieces, which my cat sometimes uproots when he is aggressively pursuing the treats inside. I appreciate that they are movable and removable, but he does knock them out of place sometimes. Still a great toy, and my cat doesn’t mind if a piece is knocked on its side, so it’s not a big deal.

CATS LOVE IT! Would be 5**** except …
My cats love this! I’ve had it for a month now and it keeps them entertained, especially the overweight cat who wants to eat all the time. I only gave it 3*** because I had to tape the cover down. Not even close to staying on. Second, they pull the arches and pegs out , (I glued them in place) 3rd, it’s really hardly an adjustable maze because of the hole alignment. Worth the money tho.

Slows down his eating and keeps him happy and engaged
This product is a game changer! I had to reduce the amount of food I fed my cat because he needed to lose a couple pounds. When I fed him at meal time he would inhale it in seconds. And then he would cry and cry for hours, begging for food. This product has slowed him way down. And he seems to really love it. It’s engaging, mentally stimulating and he’s happy. He doesn’t cry for food anymore. It’s amazing! This is a great value for the money. That being said, I did have to make a couple of adjustments. I put blue tape over a couple of holes that were large enough for his food to fall through. I also used some blue tape on the sides to make sure the lid wouldn’t come off because he would definitely be able to tear that off no problem. After making these few minor adjustments, the product is absolutely amazing!! I really can’t tell you enough about how much I love it.

Too many basic flaws with this puzzle feeder
I would recommend looking elsewhere for a good puzzle feeder. I don't have any qualms with the difficulty of the puzzle, but I agree with others that this may be a steep learning curve for most cats. This product fails to meet basic customer requirements and is definitely not worth the $27 I paid for it. If you buy this feeder, be prepared to return it or fix the flaws yourself. PROS: +Customizable puzzle CONS: -The plastic cover is not secured to the baseplate. The cover is much too big and the latch features just don't work. Especially given the narrow slots of the cover that the cat is supposed to reach in through, the cover comes off way too often. -The base is too light. In the off-chance that the cover does stays attached to the baseplate, the whole thing can be lifted by my 10lb cat, scattering the treats in the puzzle. What's the point then of the rubber footing? OTHER: -I wrapped plumbers tape around the perimeter of the base to create a snug fit, but the cover still has issues catching the side grooves on the baseplate. I just decided to tape the cover to the baseplate until I need to wash everything. -To add weight, I poured concrete mix to the bottom side of the baseplate, but it may be coming apart. If so, I'll use epoxy to bond them. In conclusion, I don't understand the raving reviews for this product. Other reviews mention a previous model that might have worked better. Or maybe I just received a bad combination of cover to baseplate. However, if the manufacturing process allows for such large deviations, that is a major problem. But fine... I still gave the company the benefit of the doubt and attempted to reach out to their customer service. No email or customer service contact was provided with the shipped package, so I had to search online and reached out to the company via their website regarding my concerns, but never received a response. I think that goes to show how much this company cares about its products and customer satisfaction.

A hit for Honey
I have a rescue kitty that is part Savannah. Therefore, she has a very high prey drive and is highly intelligent, getting bored and depressed when she has nothing to stimulate her brain. I bought this for her and she LOVES it! We also have her sister, who is out of a different father. So while both have the Maine Coon from momma, sis has more Persian/HImalayan than the Savannah that Honey has. As a result, Sis prefers to just stick her nose in the bowl and eat--forget about the games! But even with a bowl down and available, Honey will go to her puzzle feeder and play with trying to get food out of it. The fact that you can rearrange/remove/add obstacles is nice as it helps to keep her thinking with new challenges occasionally. She really enjoys that and feels better with something to challenge her mentally. The whole thing is plastic and easy to clean. The lid does allow for kibble to fall down in between the walls and the lid though, so every couple of days you have to remove the lid and clean up all the old kibble that has fallen down where she cannot reach it. Maybe that is something they should rethink and come up with a different way of seating the lid to prevent kibble loss. It does stick pretty well to the tile floor, although she can move it when she pushes against it to try and get to the pieces that have fallen down between the lid and outer wall. It has never flipped over though, even when a 16 pound kitty running full tilt has lost footing on the tile floor and slid into it, knocking it a couple of feet away. Overall, it is a big hit with the kitty. She loves it and it keeps her happy, challenged, and occupied. That makes me happy, along with the easy clean up. Good price and good value for the price. If you have a smart kitty who is easily bored because they are not challenged enough, I would definitely recommend this as a try. If you have a porky pig like her sister who prefers to just stick her nose in the bowl and not come up for air until the bowl is clean, then perhaps not so much.
