Berkley Trilene Big Game Monofilament Fishing Line

Trilene is my go to fishing line. I have had more success using Trilene than all the other brands that I have tried. I always end up going back to Trilene.

Love using this line for catfishing, like how it glows with Uv light , the durability, and the cost. Will keep buying big game mono.

By far the cheapest fishing line that I actually can tolerate. It’s a good mono that doesn’t stretch too much, but not too little.

It was delivered quickly. I spooled it on my reel, the went fishing. I caught six smallmouth base that very evening.

Big Game is an industry standard for a reason. The main complaint you will see about it is memory and line twist. Keep in mind that every time your spool makes a rotation when paying off line through your drag (when you are playing a fish), it puts a twist in the line. I recommend buying some PVA mesh. Depending on your rod and line test, put a rock, or a few, in a piece of PVA mesh, tie it up and tie the little package on the end of your line and cast it into the lake as far as you can. Let the PVA dissolve and reel your line back in, pinching the line between thumb and index finger in front of the reel. This will remove line twist. Secondly, memory can be managed by using line condition such as Reel Magic, as per the instructions on the can. When taking care of your line like this, combined with the strength of Big Game, there is no better, stronger and more reliable alternative, especially for the money.

Restrung all my reels with this line earlier this year. Caught well over 100 fish with absolutely no breakage whatsoever. Very satisfied and the colour makes it very easy to spot in the water. Allowed me to see a few pike hit my lure. Lot's of fun.
