I bought one for my 5 yr old daughter, and an adult sized version for myself so we can be a dog pack on Halloween. PROS: *Thick and plush material; the dog head is just like a big stuffed animal's head. Depending on where you live, it'll be nice and toasty in cold weather, but too hot for hotter climates. *Great quality - the sleeves and legs come with elastic to keep the costume in place. Zipper is a nice quality as well (adult version), and the kid's version comes with velcro. *Great visibility - limited visibility masks are dangerous. Exposing the entire face like this costume allows is the best for a safe trick or treating adventure. *Cool dog tail - there's a really cool dog tail sewn onto the back. CONS: *Sizing runs small, but not a big deal the the kid's costumes. Just buy a size bigger because the elastic sleeves and legs will help this to fit anyone if it's bigger. I bought the size 8-10 for my 5 yr old daughter (she's big for her age) and it fits just fine. The adult costume will be small for taller folks. I'm 6'3" and this costume gives me an incredible wedgie. I have to pull up the legs halfway up my calves to alleviate this problem. I would say that if you're 5'11 and shorter it would fit. Also, there's plenty of room for the dads with big ole beer guts (of course, that's not me!) *I bet someone will pull on my cool dog tail. Review: Great quality onesie - My preschool class loves this costume. They’ve been in and out of it multiple times in the past week. If it holds up to many 3-5 year olds zipping, unzipping, and attempting to dress themselves for multiple days, it’s a great quality costume. The fabric is soft, warm, and hardy. It fits all of my students perfectly. The most difficult part is fitting the hood over the head of my students with elaborate braids/hairstyles but that’s not the costumes fault. Very satisfied with the purchase. ## Features - All You Need Is Love And A Dog - The puppy costume is a one piece jumpsuit with attached hood. Matching sizes for the entire family. - Life Is Better With A Dog - The caramel colored onesie is designed with a tail, hood with all puppy features, and cute floppy ears. - Great Quality - The costume is made of the finest quality material for utmost durability. The jumpsuit features a zipper down the front. - Easy Care - The dog costume is machine washable on a cold/delicate cycle. It is recommended to hang dry for best results. - Perfect For Year-round - the puppy onesie is great for halloween, themed parties and photoshoots. Liven up the party with that smile. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001CP5GMO | | Age Range Description | Big Kid | | Animal Theme | dog | | Apparel Fabric Stretch | No Stretch | | Apparel Fabric Weight Class | Lightweight | | Best Sellers Rank | #200,942 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #1,346 in Boys' Costumes | | Brand Name | Dress Up America | | Care instructions | Easy wash and dry | | Closure Type | Zipper | | Color | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 502 Reviews | | Fabric Type | polyester | | Fabric type | Polyester | | Fit Type | regular | | Fit to Size Sentiment | Good fit | | Garment Size Country | United States | | Included Components | Jumpsuit with attached Hood | | Item Weight | 0.4 kg | | Manufacturer | Dress Up America | | Material | Polyester | | Neck Style | Hooded | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Halloween | | Part Number | 318-M | | Pattern | Cartoon | | Product Care Instructions | Easy wash and dry | | Size | Medium | | Sleeve Length Description | Short Sleeve | | Special Features | 100% Polyester | | Special Sizes | M | | Style Number | 318-Medium | | Target Audience | Unisex-Babies | | Theme | Animals | | UPC | 086138904182 786138806386 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | character | Animals | ## Images ![Dress Up America Puppy Costume For Kids – Labrador Or Golden Retriever Dog Dress-Up For Boys And Girls - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51OyQ+D07uL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Step Above Most Halloween Costumes Out There *by C***2 on October 24, 2011* This is probably the highest quality costume I've ever purchased. The zipper was totally great too. The quality is mostly okay but he did seem itchy and overheats when he gets hyper buy he's happy to look like a dog! ## Frequently Bought Together - Dress Up America Puppy Costume For Kids – Labrador Or Golden Retriever Dog Dress-Up For Boys And Girls - Wilderness Explorer Boy Scout Camping Backpack Embroidered Iron On Patch Badge Applique Adventure Nature Hiking Cartoon Jean Jacket - Costume Agent UP Animated Movie Cartoon Deluxe Kids Halloween Russell Cosplay Costume Set --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/18142972-dress-up-america-puppy-costume-for-kids-labrador-or-golden](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/18142972-dress-up-america-puppy-costume-for-kids-labrador-or-golden) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
