Is it very big where you can save a lot of coins

Personally, I do not think it will hold a lot of coins. It's only about 1/4 inch taller than the 13.5 fl oz coconut milk can and about a half inch wider. Not sure if that helps. I am using mine for dollars - I just fold my dollars and shove them in.
