Spearmint, peppermint, thyme, cilantro etc. It's not deep enough for proper fruit or vegetables **Q: Howany strawberry plants would you put in each pocket? One or two?** A: I would plant only one strawberry plant per pocket. Give each one ample room to spread. **Q: Would this work well with tomato plants?** A: Just my opinion but I would say no - more for herbs and flowers. I like mine - I have marigolds and wild flowers planted and they are doing pretty well but I can’t imagine a tomato plant. **Q: Can you use these in the house? Will water deep through?** A: No, they can not be used in the house, unless you have a few buckets to collect the water. The water seeps through for drainage.
