I have been welding occasionally for a few years but not enough to get very good. Part of the reason I avoided welding, when possible, was because I had a difficult time getting good welds because I couldn't see the bead very well with my previous auto darkening helmet. I adjusted the sensitivity and darkness, but I just couldn't see well enough. It was difficult to tell if I was going too fast or too slow or if I was even staying along the joint. I wasn't going to spend hundreds of dollars on a Lincoln or Miller if it was my own lack of skill so... I thought I would give the YESWELDER a chance since it wasn't expensive and at the very least I'd have a backup helmet. I've only had it for a couple of days but...BOY AM I GLAD I BOUGHT THIS!!! It's like night and day!!! (pun intended). I can actually see my weld bead as I weld. Not only that, I can see the whole area around the weld which was completely black with my other helmet. I can see exactly where my joint is and the weld puddle as I move along. My welds went from a 2 out of 10 to a 6 out of 10 just because of this helmet. I still have a way to go but that's just my lack of skill. If you are like me and got frustrated with welding because you couldn't see properly (too bright or too dark). GIVE THIS A TRY! Keep in mind that a lower/brighter shade setting means the bright arc will wash out details and you won't able to see well. On the other hand, too dark will wash out the puddle and you can't see where you're going. It's also about comfort and if you want to see more puddle or more of the arc. **Q: What's the difference in fit between eh-091x and the lyg-m800h? any performance differences?** A: The screen of EH-091X is larger then M800H, the materil of EH-091X is PA,the M800H pp **Q: Why won’t my helmet stay dark while tig welding? sensitivity and delay are maxed out, set to weld, fresh battery. why won’t it stay dark?** A: I had the same issue and wasn’t able to get it to work. Constant flicker or just not darkening at all. I think the arc sensors just aren’t sensitive enough for low amp tig. I gave up and bought a miller **Q: Is there a warninty on this helmet if they send a defected helmet? Becuase i noice some of the pictures** A: Hi. I don't know if there is warranty on it because I have not looked into it and have not tried the helmet yet. All I can say for now is that I received the helmet like 2 or three days after ordering it so that was really fast shipping and that's great. I received the helmet on Mar 13th, 2020 and I can send the helmet back if I have any problems with it up until May 31st. So almost 2.5 months to try it and find out if it suits you. All I can say that this helmet is very comfortable and I love it compare to what I can buy on the market for way more expensive and not even as nice. So there you go. It does everything I need for hobbyist flux core mig welding and I didn't need to mortgage my house to buy it... can't ask for more.
