Perfect for baby
We got this to place inside the babys outside tent. It is perfect to make sure the ground isnt to hard. You simply twist the end spout to let air in or turn the other way to let air out. Great quality and easy to wipe clean and roll. Came with velcro straps to roll up and keep together. Great value for money

Perfect playard mattress!
I love this playard mattress! It is so functional for my 6 month old who is just starting to crawl. I have the Summer Infant Pop 'n Play Ultimate Playard with Canopy (I never use the canopy) and hard floors in my whole house. My baby is not steady yet and easily topples over while crawling or sitting. I tried putting the playard on a rug but it still wasn’t soft enough. This mat is the best solution! It is like a thin air mattress.... soft enough to be comfy to play on but firm enough that baby can still crawl and move around. It wipes clean easily and I also discovered you can stretch a jersey knit crib sheet around it for easy clean up also. It rolls up for easy travel or storage. I highly recommend this!

Very padded contrary to other reviews
I read the reviews too. I know a lot of people complained about the “self inflating” feature. Upon opening the product and freeing it of its elastic bands it did begin to inflate. The suction of air was audible. After a couple of minutes it was very slow to where I realized it was either going to take forever (and I needed it now) or I had to inflate it myself. I ended up blowing into it like a regular inflatable. It’s really not that big of a deal. This mat is SO padded!!! It has a foam inside as well as the air it later gets by inflating. Don’t let the reviews steer you away. Once I blew it up and sealed the valve it was absolutely perfect and sturdy. It fits like a glove in the Regalo play pen. I’m not kidding. There are no gaps. My little one smacked his head on the floor while rolling in the playpen the other day. My play pen doesn’t have padding and the regular mat I was using was not padded enough at all. Insert this one. Please buy!! Whoever is really stuck on the fact that it does not self inflate is lazy. Blow it up and call it a day. Gosh. It’s very easy to clean up messes. Totally wipeable. I haven’t folded it back up for travel but it honestly seems as easy as opening the valve and rolling it into a burrito to release the air. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Clean and easy playmat for baby
Very easy to wipe off, about the same thickness as a yoga mat. Easy to fold and toss back into its bag, though it is a tight fit. It does not inflate so much as allows some air inside to give it a better cushion and let’s it flatten out rather than get stuck in a partially rolled form. The big thing about this feature is letting all the air OUT so you can roll it up tightly. I have used it for outside and travel and it has worked great to give my baby a good soft and clean play area regardless of the ground or flooring where we are.

Perfect for Regalo Playpen!
I was a little nervous because I wasn’t 100% sold on it but man, this thing is great! Fits perfectly and is super cute. Easy as heck to clean. (We had an.. explosive event and it was no problem taking it out to clean and disinfect. I didn’t even warp the color.) I did have to blow it up a bit upon opening the box.

Worth the extra $$!!
I got this to go in the Regelo portable play yard. I thought the self-inflating feature was great. I unfolded and let it do the work on its own. You also have the option to put extra air in for a more firm surface. The carrying bag seems silly considering that it suggests to leave the mat the lay flat when not in use, but will at least give you somewhere to store for long periods of not using.

Impossible to put back into the bag
Don’t get me wrong, it works fines - it fits in the tent and makes it comfortable. However, it is not something you’ll want to travel with. I opened it once and it now lives permanently opened and inflated in my basement…. I broke the bag trying to push it back inside. Looking back, I don’t think it was worth buying because I’ll really only use when the tent is inside my house - definitely won’t be bringing it elsewhere. Overall, I’m glad I didn’t buy the more expensive version, but I’m also upset I didn’t just stick with using a plush blanket.
