These are very sturdy! I'm certain we've all had the experience of a cotton swab that disintegrates if humidity exists near it, but these hold up exceptionally well no matter what substance touches them. Their small size makes them excellent at other smaller non-baby tasks - cleaning your keyboard, that part at the back of your keyboard where it connects to your laptop that you forgot, very small engines and other mechanical objects with tight corners, and even your ear.
