A Beautiful Upgrade to any Side Table Arrangement
This piece of furniture is designed quite well. The legs come pre-assembled in two sets. There's a left side and right side, and that inverted "V" creates a sturdy brace in the middle. From there, the top board and the bottom shelf attach to the sides via dowels and wood screws, along with a brace in the rear. It takes about an hour or less to assemble. Again, the whole thing is well thought out and very sturdy. KUDOS!The drawer is the last thing that you assemble, and it's also the least thing about this piece of furniture. It's just OK. Yes, I said DRAWER. It looks like there are two drawers (two pulls) from the picture, but there is indeed only one. It assembles like you'd expect for such a thing; it has those two-piece metal roller slides like you see on a filing cabinet. After assembly, it takes a while to get the drawer aligned with the table for smooth operation, if at all. With the side table in its place, everything looks quite beautiful. It really ties the room together. Our old side table looks ugly now in comparison. We have it near the front door entrance and it's filled with nick-nacks and some big coffee table books. It's elegant. Almost snobbish. But quite the upgrade, to be sure. The price is perfect. Highly Recommended!

Fine for the price, but beware the awful sticker. Drawer not very usable.
I bought this as a temporary piece for our entryway, until someday when I find something nicer. It fits the need well. It is an attractive piece, just as pictured. It is sturdy enough. One negative is that the drawer does not slide well. I am not planning to use the drawer, but if you are, you might end up having to replace the drawer glides. The other thing I was really unhappy about was the very large safety warning sticker that was affixed to the outside of one of the side panels. I appreciate the need to warn about tipping, and that it is not strong enough to be used as a tv stand. However, given that the table needed to be assembled, the sticker could have been placed on the underside and still would have been seen by the customer. It did not need to be on the outside. Worse though, was that they went for the cheap adhesive that does NOT come off. I had to buy adhesive remover from Home Depot, which had to be left on a rag sitting on the sticker to soak in, then scraped off with a plastic scraper. Then a little elbow grease on top of that. Ridiculous amount of effort to get this very large sticker off the outside of my table. They couldn't have used a lighter adhesive that actually allows the sticker to be peeled off? No way it was intended to be left on, it's on the side panel of the table. Just annoying. Sticker is gone now and the table looks nice, and will serve it's purpose. Fine for the price.

Surprisingly Solid
I really needed to find a nice way to organize my entryway, and stop the whole family (myself included) from unloading everything onto the kitchen table. This table works really well in the space that I have, as it's not quite as deep as most console or sofa tables, but it's also not so narrow that it looks weird. The drawer is very wide and really needs some dividers to keep it from turning into a place to stow random things.Other than the drawer bottom, which was the typical heavy cardboard used in most prefab furniture, there is not a single piece of particle board in the entire construction of this piece. NOT A SINGLE PIECE.Assembly was somewhat aggravating, because most of the pieces had holes drilled only on one side. However, since the whole thing goes together with wood screws, this only makes the whole table stronger in the end. Use a cordless screwdriver and go slow.My only issue with this table is that the top of the table had a spot where a piece of the wood (looks like a knothole) had been inexpertly repaired with some kind of glue. To be fair, though, I don't care since I intend to cover the top with mosaic tile. But the instructions do state that the manufacturer will replace damaged or missing parts. On the whole, this is a really nice table for the money.

Bring a drill and patience to the party
Once assembled, it looks nice. But that's as far a it goes, beauty is skin deep on this one. At least the packing was ok.What's wrong:1. Fewer than half the holes were drilled. Of the ones that were, several were in the wrong place.2. Some holes are counter-sunk to far and the screw tip will go through the top. I shimmed with some M4 washers. There is no need for 30 and 24mm screws, they could have just used 24mm. In some places the 30mm is a better length than 24mm, but they specify the 24 instead and vise versa.3. Some dowel holes are to shallow so the surfaces won't mate properly. If you push too hard, you could crack the top because the wood is super thin at the top of the hole. I had to cut some.4. The back support for the top isn't flush with the sides, so if you cinch the screws down, the top will cup.5. The drawer front wouldn't sit flush. The center supports needed trimming to keep it from rocking.6. The drawer sliders aren't level, so one side sits higher than the other. It's not worth the asking price, maybe half that. Of the various assemble yourself furniture I've had, this is hands down the worst.I ended up gluing all the dowels and most of the joints, and it'll look ok for staging a house for sale, but quality furniture this is not.

Good quality for a good price. Flawless finish.
The quality of this table surprised me for the price. This is a beautiful console table. The materials are of good quality and the finish on the wood is flawless. The only issue was one that I read about before buying and that is the heavier finish wood pieces are not pre-drilled. With a cordless drill these were easy to complete. I would not worry about having to drill your own holes. Some holes are at an angle other than 90 degrees, but were easy to do. Be careful drilling into the underside of the top so you don’t drill too deeply and go all the way through the top. I am very happy with this console and plan on buying matching end tables.
