You definately have to force it to lay flat right out of the box- the bottom is just cloth and isn't very sturdy so if thats what you're looking for you're out of luck- the grey also not a solid grey but more of a speckled fabric with brown and white. Decent for what you pay for but I'm not sure how long it'll last

These are way smaller than what I got them for. For the price you can’t beat it. So I can find something else to use them for in my house instead of the hassle of returning them.

We got this as a storage chest for our cats' toys. It's just the right size and height. They drag it around by the handles and dig through it to get their favorite toys to play with. Then, we can clean up prior to company or sweeping.Update: It has taken a beating and looks brand new.
