Review: Highest Quality Boden tube kit with fast delivery - This is a great all in one upgrade kit for any 1.75mm Boden style printer. The kit comes with 1 meter of Caprocorn PTFE tubing. It also includes 2 sets of PC4-M6 and PC4-M10 Pneumatic Fittings so you get a spare set of Pneumatic Fittings. The V tube cutter makes cutting the filament straight very easy and a straight cut is essential to ensuring you don't get any filament seepage which will cause clogs. Also Capricorn tubing has higher heat tolerances so it wont burn in the hot-end nearly as fast as the standard white stock tubing you get with your printer. Some people don't understand why it is important to get good quality boden tubes. Most white stock boden tubes comes with an inner diameter of 2.1mm. with a 1.75mm Filament this allows .6mm flex in the filament when being pushed by the extruder which means pushing 100mm in e-steps on the extruder could result in only 97mm actually reaching the hot-end due to the bending and flexing of the filament in the tube. This can cause under extrusion issues. Also with the bends in the filament inside the tube your retraction distance is actually not retracting but really only taking up the slack in the filament in the tube resulting in oozing from the nozzle and stringy prints. The capricorn tubing comes with an inner diameter of 1.9mm which greatly decreases the chance of the filament flexing in the tube so when you extrude 100mm, you actually get 100mm pushed and retractions is an actual retraction and not a take up of filament slack in the tube as it has no where to go. I have upgraded all of my boden printers to capricorn tubing. It is the easiest and most inexpensive upgrade you can do for your printer to increase its print quality. The white and gray 2.5mm iId works great for TPU, best I have found. The blue has a smaller id that works for other filaments but not TPU. All three types are high grade and would buy again. Others do not come close to these. (Except Banbu lab's)
