Raw Organic Fermented Sauerkraut, “Jalapeno” Variety [Vegan, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Probiotic] 16 oz Glass Jar - Wise Goat Organics

We're big fans of Sauerkraut, and have tried many, many brands, and we've found Wild Goat's to be the best on the market. Beware! The Jalapeño is spiiicy, but it's amazing on sausage dogs, as we call them (Italian sausages served on hot dog buns). Yum! Now I need to go thaw some sausages so I can make this tonight! We tend to order 6-8 jars at a time, a couple each of our favorite kinds: Classic and Jalapeño, and then Golden, Green Garden, and typically one extra--usually something we have yet to try. This last time our extra one was Garlic, but we've tried their Purple (which is a regular contender with Golden and Green Garden for '2nd place' and multiple times it's been the extra one) and Borscht... I believe I'm forgetting one... But you get the point, there really isn't any way to go wrong with any of their flavors! They're a small seller, so they always package the jars really well and I've never gotten a broken one. I've noticed they use thick recycled paper for filler when it's needed, and to line the bottom/sides/top of the box. The jars themselves are layered in wrap, a zippered bag, then bubble wrap, before being put into an individual slot in the box. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their packaging, just like they do their product. Their turnaround has gotten a lot quicker over the past year or so as well, and this last time, I had my order a week after I'd placed it! That's good, because I was completely out and craving for more! Give them a try! You won't find this quality of sauerkraut at any store!

Excellent sauerkraut!!!! Great source of probiotics (husband has no more bloating stomach issues). We have purchased several times both the Classic and Jalapeño. They come securely packaged. We have never had a problem with the shipping. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

I can’t get over how good this is. It’s the perfect amount of spicy crunch and tang. Every time I need a snack this is what I reach for. It’s kind of pricey but I pay $12 for bubbies which is also great but not nearly as good. When you purchase buy three items to get the them for the same shipping price. I’ve already made a second order and will be ordering soon the kvass is perfect as well!

I’ve tried various fermented foods, including kimchi, from different brands in the US and the UK, and Wise Goat Organics’ “Raw Organic Fermented Probiotic Sauerkraut, Jalapeño” stands out for its quality. It’s vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, and tastes great. I particularly enjoy the jalapeño flavor and have noticed it helps with my digestion. I hope they continue to maintain their high quality.

Great quality and variety

I've bought this several times and other flavors from this seller too. I like them all. They are good enough to eat on their own with nothing added, but I put this in my salad. I also like that I am supporting a small business owner who is a woman and this is made in the USA.

Expiration date is February 2026. I received delivery on February 28, 2026. Not cool.

Most sauerkraut I have purchased is boring and watery. This product is outstanding. The glass jar is tightly packed and great aroma. I have also tried the purple kraut another great product the addition of Juniper berries is a wonderful touch. I look forward to trying the rest of her products.
