EUROLIVE B105D Ultra-Compact 50-Watt PA/Monitor Speaker with MP3 Player and Bluetooth Audio Streaming

I wanted a small very portable monitor/speaker for singing. This is great. It's super lightweight. It makes a great monitor for practice. It takes an XLR mic and has another input for accompaniment. You can stream backing tracks from your phone as it is bluetooth enabled. I also use it to just listen to music. It's not that loud but it's fine for practice. There is a model (205) that has more wattage but it doesn't appear to be Bluetooth enabled. I wish this lightweight speaker came as a battery-operated product.

This unit is good for what it is designed to be....a good monitor. The sound quality isn't up to a primary speaker sound, but then the unit isn't designed for that. It's meant for a personal monitor for vocal or instruments and it does that job very adequately. For the money, it performs quite well. You can't overdrive it, 'cause the 50W output won't let you. It will distort the sound if the input has too much gain or the volume is turned up too high, but overall this unit does what it was designed to do. A good buy for its purpose.

I read reviews of folks having some various issues but, took a chance anyway. Keep in mind, this monitor is less than $100. One common complaint was that the device wouldn't power on. At first, I thought mine was DOA but, it just takes a couple of seconds to power on. No big deal. If you're looking for a full featured, moderately powered personal monitor, this will most likely do the job for an acoustic solo or duo performer(s). If you need additional power for an electric setting, this is NOT the right device for that. For the price, it does the job perfectly. I just wanted a small, powered speaker that I could use around my home studio for various purposes......several useful inputs. I can connect a drum machine, mixer, guitar and microphone, a USB stick and then there's the Bluetooth. It's also mic stand mountable. No extra hardware needed. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It does exactly what I intended it to do and it doesn't take up a lot of room.

I bought this monitor as a budget-friendly solution for vocals. Sound quality was acceptable for rehearsals and maybe a little karaoke night with friends, but you wouldn't want to necessarily use this for a legitimate performance, as it suffers from distortion issues at higher volumes. That being said, it did its job, for about 5 months, when power was lost mid-song during a band practice. I assumed blown fuse, which thankfully this comes with a secondary fuse, however that did not seem to fix my issue. The overall reason for my 1 Star review is mostly due to the aftermarket support, or lack thereof. I went to Behringer's product support website, only to find an endless loading page (every other part of the website seems to work fine). Gave up on that, and found a hyper link on their support banner, which has a register option. I followed the simple instructions, however, no matter what I did to any of the fields, I could not get the "submit" button to work. So now I'm out $100 for a product that has maybe 30 hours of use. I don't believe this item is offered for sale anymore, but if it is, do avoid.

the description here on Amazon and everywhere else on the Internet says it provides phantom power but it does not provide phantom power. you will need a $25 phantom power supply and one more XLR cable for that connection. I am not a musician, but... as an old Windows guru and electronics hobbyist... the Bluetooth is fishy. when pairing, first it identifies as "headphone" then changes to "Bluetooth". that's what you see in Bluetooth devices... "Bluetooth". yeah. after flipping the XLR phantom power device switch and hearing a loud POP from this thing, seems it had trouble turning on after that. like it took 30 seconds before it turned on... maybe there is a heat tripped fuse thingy in there or something, I dunno. about 12 hours later, now it turns on within 6 seconds. go figure. edit: I carefully rotated this thing on the desk and it spontaneously turned off. apparently a power cable connection problem. I opened it. the insides look okay, considering the workers are moving at light speed when assembling this stuff, but... the (power switch - power cable connector) circuit board is thrown on their at a 30° angle. that's just weird, and apparently they failed soldering one of the connections because of that. so I resoldered that area. will see whether the fix works in the long run. that angled soldering board obviously causes difficulty for the workers trying to solder the thing. I'm sensitive to noise. been using a cheap Marantz USB microphone for 10 years, quiet as a mouse. was very disappointed with this setup at first when connecting my expensive new microphone to the front microphone XLR input and heard a lot of hiss. woe is me. tried connecting it to the rear main XLR input with the mic button on and the hiss is gone. there is still a quiet bit of electrical/digital interference noise but it's inaudible at 3 feet. happy is me.

I was looking to add a microphone to my guitar practices at home and this little guy does what I needed and more! I just wanted a voice monitor and this is great for that but you can also plug an instrument into it, it has a thru out so you can chain them together, it has USB and Bluetooth, and a 3-band EQ. It's really amazing! Very solid construction. Looks and feels well made. Now of course with a 5" speaker you're not going to get a huge bass response and IDK if you would really want to use it as a guitar amp, but for a voice monitor it's great. Also, if you decide at some point to add a mixer or some other kind of interface you can still use this as a PA monitor, so it will still be useful! For under $100 this is pretty amazing.

Very awesome speaker!!

I use this speaker to monitor audio backstage at corporate events and it works fine for what it is. The sound is not great but it's good enough to run teleprompter or switch cameras at a live event, but I don't think it will reproduce 60hz so I wouldn't use it to monitor record decks. It has all the analog inputs you'd commonly need and you can BT music from your phone when setting up/waiting around. It seems durable enough, but I haven't seen a "whizzer cone" speaker since Jensen Triaxial's were a thing. Bottom line is that it works fine for casual listening but it's not HiFi by any measure; I can't imagine a scenario where a musician would be happy with it.

Very simple to install and use with good sound quality, simple controls, and convenient. The only think I missed was "HOW TO MOUNT IT ON A MIC STAND" - which was one of the important selling points. I scored a mount for it from a local music dealer - for a Mackie but it works. The mic stand mount should be included with the product if they intend to market it that way but anyway, it's still worth the 5 stars.

Super purchase for the budding singer. Search youtube and see how they can be used and make that first purchase of a powerful piece of kit for budding SINGERS. It worked for our musical theatre superstar!

Es un versátil monitor de 50W (lo cual no es mucho, pero es suficiente para mi aplicación). Está montado sobre un pedestal, y utilizo el canal 1 (XLR) para el micrófono, y el canal 2 (mini-TRS) para el instrumento. La salida (mono) XLR se envía a la mezcladora/amplificador principal. La conexión BlueTooth se utiliza para enviar música desde el teléfono durante los descansos . Muy recomedado.
