Will this fit the older model 199020-1002 rotary trimmer?

I too, was needing a new cut-bar for my older trimmer unit and found out that the newer one (which I now have) has a square (four sided) cut-bar instead of the 'strip' type. So to answer your question, no, it will not work with the older unit. I did find a newer model Fiskars paper cutter for about $35.00 on line (slightly used, but in great condition). I absolutely love it for trimming photos.

Is this strip 12” or 15”? My fiskars cutter is 12”, but the strip itself is 15”.

I also have a Fiskar paper trimmer with a 15 inch strip. Apparently, the original ones have been discontinued in the interest of planned obsolescence. I found one, old stock, on Ebay.

How can it be used 8 times?

It can actually be used 1000's of times. But the blade cuts slightly off center, so it Canberra rotated to its 4 sides, and then flip it and rotate 4 more times. This only needs to be done when you have done too many cuts on a side.
