L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Radiant Serum Foundation with SPF 50, Cream Beige, 1 Ounce

I'm 49 years old and spent a lifetime wearing minimal makeup. I'm talking some mascara, lipstick and maybe a little bronzer. I quit using foundation when I was 16 and realized last summer that I'd better figure out how to use it again, because I NEEDED it!! Needless to say, learning about makeup at my age was an eye-opening experience, and it was startling to realize that so many foundations made me look so much OLDER after I applied them. So, it's been an ongoing search, and an incredibly frustrating one, at times. This foundation can be gorgeous and produce such a glowing, healthy look to your skin....but you really need to be aware of how you prep you skin and be aware of how to deal with it after it's on your skin. This foundation contains sodium hyaluronate (a form of hyaluronic acid) which is all the rage in skin care and it's now making its way into makeup. Which can cause some real problems if you're not prepared for it. If you live in a dry climate (I do) or it's winter (it is) then the thing that hyaluronic acid (I'm just gonna call it HA from here on) needs to work, which is water, is seriously lacking. It can still work for you though. Make sure your skin is well moisturized prior to application. I'd recommend skipping the sponge, although if you do use one, make sure it's damp....even just a touch damper than you would usually use it. I use a brush AND my fingers.....my fingers in areas where I want heavier coverage and buffing it on with a brush where I want lighter coverage. I also set it very lightly. It doesn't settle into lines and wrinkles like most other foundations. Now it's not going to smooth them out for you, they're still going to be there. What I'm saying is that it doesn't migrate and cake up in them. It sinks into the skin beautifully. The next step, for me at least, is crucial right now, since the air is so dry here. After I've set it lightly with a finishing powder, I hit it GENEROUSLY with a dewy setting spray. It has made all the difference. If it starts to feel dry through the day, I'll give it a quick spritz in that area and that seems to solve the problem. It wears REALLY well, I'd say 8-10 hours. The finish isn't luminous, it's more of a healthy glow that looks really amazing and just seems to get better through the day. I think this is going to be AMAZING this summer when the humidity returns because it's such a lightweight, moisturizing formula and that extra moisture in the air will make using this foundation a breeze. PLUS, I love the SPF in this. That doesn't mean I skip my regular SPF, because for SPF to work you've got to put on a certain amount.....and I don't care what anyone says, there is no way I'll be convinced that this is enough to provide adequate protection. But at the same time, I'll never say no to MORE protection. Ever. The coverage is what I would call a light to medium coverage. I can still see my areas of broken veins/redness peeking through where they are most concentrated. I ordered Ivory as I'm fair skinned (red hair, blue eyes, pasty white skin during winter) and the color match was good. Overall, if you experience dryness with this, don't be afraid to work with it to provide some moisture because the results are definitely worth it!!!

LOVE it. My skin loves this foundation. I use the foundation everyday and love the SPF that is included. I have very sensitive skin and I am prone to allergies, but not with this L'Oreal Paris age perfect foundation. It is so easy to smooth on, and is so affordable. So easy to use a little bit goes a long way. my skin looks glowing when I am wearing it. You don't even look like you're wearing makeup. Best by yet, will continue to use daily just because it makes my skin look great, and the added bonus of built in SPF 50. My favorite is also because after wearing it my face does not break out.

I decided to try this foundation since Purlisse discontinued the darker shades of the CC cream that was my go-to. I am 56 and have menopausal combination skin, along with mild rosacea and brown spots from too much tanning in the 80's. I also get mild acne so I have to be careful with oils and most foundations for mature skin. I didn't expect much but after using this for just under a week, I've been pleasantly surprised. I have a light olive complexion and ordered the sand shade. The color is about perfect. It's easy to apply with your fingers (I'm not a brush fan) and blends well. The coverage is medium- it does a decent job of camoflauging my redness and sun damage but doesn't fully cover the spots without a concealer. I tend to get shiny so I applied without moisturizer first onto clean skin and it feels plenty moisturizing. It gives a nice glow which is great in the cold, dry winter temps. I'm deducting a star as it doesn't have the lasting power of some more expensive foundations and I can tell that it won't hold up in the humid Kansas City summer. That being said, the spf 50 has not irritated my skin and so far, no breakouts. This is a good winter foundation for combo aging skin at a great price point.

What I like most is how moisturizing it is — my skin feels softer and more comfortable throughout the day, especially in drier areas. This is a rather good product for mature skin. It does a good job of making your skin look even.

This is a fabulous, high-quality foundation with SPF 50, with fantastic coverage that is buildable and light if you want it to be, or heavier coverage as necessary. It makes my skin look so much more useful and beautiful and blends. Skin tone imperfections into a more perfect look without looking artificial. I have acne prone skin, and I have never broken out with this product and have been using it for years. It absolutely does not clog pores. I apply it on top of a a good cetaphyl moisturizer that also doesn’t make me break out. And I wash and clean my skin carefully at night. I lose 10 years adding this foundation to my routine. Combine it with a hyaluronic or collagen, tincture or serum under your moisturizer and you get a great combination for beauty and anti-aging. It also comes in a plethora of very natural looking colors and part of the natural look is dependent upon finding the one that blends the best with your neck so that it looks natural. Sometimes the other products we combine with it such as sunscreen, or moisturizer can cause a breakout, so test each product individually, and carefully. I positively love this product!.

I will search the ends of the earth for L’Oréal Age Perfect Radiant Foundation! Why? Because the description delivers!!!! First I apply faithfully L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Triple Power Face Serum then apply the Age Perfect Radiant foundation for a more dewy, natural look. Almond is so hard to find in my area I purchased 2! Super lightweight, no fragrance, easy application with sponge, fingertip and or smooth with a foundation brush to touch up when needed!

I've been using this foundation for quite some time. As an older woman, I find it applies nicely without settling in facial creases. I also love that it contains SPF 50 which is great as I spend a lot of time in the sun. The large range of colors makes for the perfect match.

Wow! Ive been using boots no7 foundation for mature skin and I thought I was very happy with that. Until I ordered this! I read in a magazine survey that this L’Oréal age perfect came out TOP for every aspect so I had to try it. I didn’t think anything could beat no7 but I was wrong! This foundation serum is truly the best I have ever tried and I have tried loads , some mid-range and some high-end but nothings beats this. Covers beautifully. Goes on smooth and silky and dries in seconds. Doesn’t settle in lines but somehow manages to COVER THEM UP. The shade matches my complexion exactly and I finish off with a quick brush over of bronzer . And I just look like I have a healthy glow and great complexion. Seems to minimise pores (although that could be my primer that I mix a small amount into the foundation. All in all, I can’t recommend this highly enough. Sorry Boots but sadly this one is definitely top of the poles.
