I hate this thing! I’ve spent a fortune over the years buying gadgets trying to make coffee like they do in France. This one does it perfectly, and being vacum, it keeps it hot whilst it’s brewing as well. 20g of beans per 300ml cup, and using a French blend, it makes perfect coffee.Wish I’d bought one years ago.

It works very well, does not squirt/blow coffee everywhere when you push the plunger down and comes up like new after it has been in the dishwasher. Has internal volume/level markings in it and these show no sign of wearing off.A well made french press that keeps coffee warm for round an hour.

Was recommended this French press and wasn’t disappointed when it arrived . Super quality metal construction, ideal for a large single cup of coffee and the seal between lid plunger and body of press is nice and tight with 3 additional spare filters , works really well , feels very robust so will last forever and delivers great coffee. Very nice looking too! Would also recommend

Good coffee maker and it looks smart on the countertop next to my creamer and grinder. Only downside I'd say is its hard to read measurement lines on the inside and theres only 3 but better than some when I researched before purchasing, many had no measurement lines at all.

I checked out coffee cafetières on Amazon some cheaper and others dearer but the Groenenberg was my choice and the many positive reviews of this model helped me in my choice. Fantastic quality stainless steel coffee cafetière. The moment I took it out of its carton I knew this was built to last. I used coffee percolators before but they never surpass the quality of the Cafetière. I like the additional three stainless steel filters that come with it so they will last a long time if looked after. I chose the two mug size but larger or smaller ones are the purchaser’s preference. I like the spout closure which will keep the coffee from cooling down too quickly but beware this is not air tight so if you are thinking of going on a hike it would be well advised to transfer the drink to a sealed flask. But this is for home. The main body (which is well insulated) including filters and attachments are dishwasher safe. The quality of this cafetière is excellent value and you get what you pay for, I’m sure their are higher priced cafetières out their but this one is all I ask for. Highly recommended. I had the middle size . I got a large mug and half a mug out of it. Is good size for one person. It’s the best coffee maker that I have tried. Keeps it piping hot and no leakage of coffee grounds into the coffee. I would definitely buy another, maybe I might purchase the largest one for my husband as I have de caff and he has fully leaded 😆. It looks stylish too .

De l'eau bouillante, du café moulu...Laissez infuser quelques minutes et pressez le piston pour bloquer le marc au fond.Servez le café et, si vous ne servez pas tout dans les minutes qui suivent, la double paroi fait office de thermo.Un excellent produit en acier inox livré avec des filtres de rechange au cas où. Il caffè preparato con la french press è stato, per me, una piacevole sorpresa. Mi ha colpito come si possa gustare ogni sapore del caffè così fatto. Certo, per noi italiani, abituati come siamo all'espresso, all'inizio può risultare difficile, ma, una volta abituato e capito come prepararlo al meglio, è per me diventato un appuntamento quotidiano. Per i puristi dell'espresso: ciò ovviamente non significa che abbia abbandonato quest'ultima modalità di preparazione, anzi, con l'acquisto di questo prodotto sono contestualmente passato al caffè in grani macinato sul momento (cosa che consiglio se acquisterete non tanto questa specifica press, ma una in genere), il che ha reso l'esperienza del caffè preparato con la moka ancora migliore.Consiglio di macinare il caffè in grani per la preparazione con la french press, in quanto il sapore, o meglio, l'intensità, varia a seconda della macinatura, che sia più grossolana o più fine. Venendo, per l'appunto, dall'espresso, personalmente preferisco una macinatura più fine, in modo da ottenere un sapore più deciso. Il rischio di ottenere un caffè "bruciacchiato" però non è ignorabile.Quanto detto finora, però, si può applicare ad una qualsiasi generica french press. Dunque, perché proprio questa?Innanzitutto, appena tirata fuori dalla scatola, si nota che sia bella esteticamente, con un aspetto semplice e gradevole. Prendendola in mano se ne nota anche il peso, cosa che ho apprezzato: essendo il corpo interamente in metallo, si capisce fin da subito che è non solo resistente, ma anche in grado di mantenere il caffè caldo per lungo tempo, cosa poi confermata dai fatti.Ho anche apprezzato il dettaglio del coperchietto, che presenta una specie di becco, e che quindi può essere ruotato su se stesso una volta filtrato il caffè, in modo da "chiudere" la press e aprirla solo al momento di versare in tazza.Riguardo all'utilizzo, niente da dire, se non che è ottima. Eventuali straripamenti al momento del filtraggio possono essere dovuti ad una press troppo piena, oppure ad un caffè macinato troppo finemente, il che può portare anche ad un "pressaggio" più difficoltoso.Consiglio di smontarla ogni volta per il lavaggio: non ci sono infatti piccole parti, come viti o alcunché, che possono andare perdute nel tubo del lavandino o nella lavastoviglie. A tal proposito, infatti, il lavaggio va eseguito con acqua e sapone. Un'ultima nota a riguardo: il filtro, con l'utilizzo, tende a sfibrarsi leggermente al centro, là dove va ad inserirsi la vite centrale. Nulla che ne pregiudichi l'utilizzo, certo, ma c'è il rischio che si incastrino le fibre della spugna.Riguardo alle dimensioni, è ovviamente una questione soggettiva. Personalmente ho preferito la press da 0,35L, la dimensione minore, in quanto sapevo già che l'avrei preparato solamente per me, e posso dire che per due persone è sufficiente: ne ricavo infatti sempre 2 o più tazze da circa 170ml, la dimensione che consiglio.Concludendo, è un prodotto che consiglio, non solo per scoprire un nuovo modo di gustare il caffè, ma anche perché questa press ve lo consentirà al meglio.
