how long does ice last in cooler?

We live in an area that gets extremely hot (well over 100). We did a pool party last week and the ice water and cool drinks were still cold the following morning.

No, it would not keep ice cream frozen. It's just a beverage cooler and has no power source, just ice that you put in. Yes, it would be great for a block party; the wheels are sturdy if you are careful not to hit potholes, bumps in the street pavement.

Can you use dry ice in it

Not sure but Don't see why not, most dry ice is contained so you're not touching it. I wouldn't just throw it in the cooler uncontaminated, someone could burn fingers
