Absolutely the best product for dysfagia!
This the best product! I have tried them all. Some settle on the bottom of a glass, some taste awful. It blends perfectly into all liquids with no change in taste. Fantastic product for newly diagnosed! Thank you to the company for bringing this product to the market

Best product for dysphagia
My spouse had neck surgery at c2-c3 and c3-c4 when he woke he was having swallowing difficulties. He came home on thickened liquids. We tried the product from the hospital and one other brand before this one. This product leaves no residue behind as the other two products. My husband says there is no taste or gritty texture as the other. By far the superior products. I highly recommend this if your having dysphagia!

Best thickener for water if made ahead of time
For plain water this is the best, but easier if made ahead of time. No taste, stays clear, and doesn’t settle to bottom of glass like Thickit. I make a quart or half gallon with room temp water (or any clear liquid) and stir or shake multiple times until no clumps ,then put in fridge to cool. That way it’s ready at a moments notice if you get thirsty. Thickness doesn’t change much with cooling I say clear liquids because you can see any clumps and be sure you get them dissolved before cooling. I find liquid SimplyThick best for other uses (like thickening a cup of coffee, milk, or bowl of soup at home or at a restaurant) as it takes only 30 seconds to mix and be served and no clumps but makes plain water look “dirty” (cloudy)and unappetizing.

Good thickener, works exactly as it should.
Exactly what I was looking for, it saved my day. A small amount per cup makes any liquid into a jello, perfect for a patient with swallowing difficulty. It practically has no taste of its own, doesn't interfere with the taste of food. Tip: add the powder little by little and use a whisk to stir it immediately. Keep stirring until thick (usually about a minute) to get a smooth and consistent texture.

A true game changer for those with swallowing impairment!!! Run don’t walk
this thickener has been a LIFE SAVER in helping my mom who suffers with dysphasia and severe swallowing impairment. It leaves no reside, no aftertaste and no chalky texture. Just make sure to spoon in the powder in a dry cup BEFORE pouring in the fluid. And mix it with a spoon immediately after pouring in the liquid for best results. I let it sit for 20 mins prior to giving it to my mom because it does its magic process in thickening up in this 20 mins. This is our 5th purchase of this product. Highly recommend!!!

Thickens well, but causes bloating
The thickener worked, but it made me feel extremely bloated which was counterproductive to staying hydrated and well fed when preparing for oral cancer surgery. I learned this is a somewhat common side effect for thickeners made with maltodextrin - a corn starch one ended up being much better for me.

Works well with a blender bottle!
Works well. My picky daughter does not mind the taste, and with it she doesn’t cough when drinking either. (I have tasted it too, the texture is different, but it doesn’t change the taste. It is able to be drunk with a straw. (I’ll include an image of the bottle we use.) We are using it at Mildly Thick Level 2, Nectar-Like thickness. It’s one scoop for each 1/2 cup (4 ounces). We use a blender bottle to mix it. Works great: 12 ounces water, 3 scoops DysphagiAide, shake well for about 30 seconds, let it sit 4 minutes, shake again, then it’s ready to pour! It’s totally clear, just looks a little like “fancy water” 🤭 because it has bubbles in it from the shaking!

It doesn't change consistency after mixing!
I have tried a few thickeners and this one wins hands down for me. I don't mix it exactly as the directions say. I do use the amounts recommended, but I put all the powder I need for the task into a small bowl and pour my liquid into a mason jar style glass with lid. With the bowl in one hand and the lid in the other, I add the powder, secure the lid and shake it like crazy! I shake for 30 to 40 seconds. I don't have to wait for it to set this way. It is ready for a straw. If I'm delayed in mixing even for a few seconds though, it clumps and is hard to remedy. That's why the two handed quick trick. The best feature of this powder over the others is that it doesn't continue to thicken after it is thoroughly mixed. I can mix it, let my husband drink what he wants, then store the rest back in the fridge without it turning too thick to use. It stays at the same consistency once it has achieved its distribution into the liquid. There is NO taste to this thickener and it doesn't change the color of the beverage. Other thickeners leave water cloudy. This one has bubbles after I shake the snot out of it, but it is still clear. Same with tea. I have used it for a carbonated beverage a few times. If it has any carbonation in it at all, it foams up immediately. Fortunately for me, my husband is fine with 'flat' sodas so I work diligently to get the carbonation out of the soda before thickening it. This is my go to thickener forever more. And their customer service is exceptional!

Great Thickener for Fluids and Food
Highly Recommended for Dysphagia** I recently purchased Clear DysphagiAide to help with thickening liquids and food due to dysphagia, and I am really impressed with the results. The powder dissolves quickly and seamlessly in both water and juices, which is a huge plus. It doesn’t alter the taste of any of the drinks, so you can enjoy your beverages without any flavor changes. I also found it very easy to control the thickness and consistency, which made it incredibly convenient to use. Whether I was adding it to liquids or pureed foods, it did the job without any grittiness, making consumption smooth and hassle-free. The added bonus is that it doesn’t affect the taste of food either, so meal times remain as enjoyable as possible. I would highly recommend Clear DysphagiAide to anyone dealing with dysphagia. It’s effective, easy to use, and doesn’t compromise the taste or texture of your food and drinks. A great product for managing swallowing difficulties!

Best I have used, others I found don't thicken or make clear liquid cloudy

Works!
Great thickener, used by someone who has had multiple strokes, makes water thicker so he can stay hydrated. Definitely less than 90 servings though.

Does the job
Excellent product. We had to buy some before got it supplied by doc. I also tried a cheaper one and to be honest they were both good. My colleagues preferred this one. No idea if it tastes because lady cant tell us. Certainly mixes into drink great.
