I had tried many other hair ties that either slipped out, broke, tangled or got caught up and pulled out my hair. I am only buying new ones because I am down to just a few left because I had lost or misplaced them. The elasticity does eventually stretch out some after a year or so, but I just wrapped it one tighter. No other product has worked as well for me. The size may be smaller than others, but I don't have thick hair so that's a good thing.
