Product of what country?  product of?  made in?......most products made in the usa proudly label; i don't see any "product of" on the pictured label.

I have bought this Hawthorn several times because it seems the best choice of all available, but aside from the American flag on the box, I have noticed there is no "Made in USA" label, too.  So after I received your question, I looked over my last box, and found the following:  "Manufactured for Pure Mountain Botanicals...Cheyenne, Wyoming" and a phone number and an American flag on the flap
A hand-signed note included with the box, which says:  ...As a small family business we are passionate about bringing you the best possible supplements to help improve your life....We are here to help if you have any questions.  Feel free to contact us..." followed by an email address and a phone number.  It was signed Rob and Shelley Griffin.  I called and left a message at Rob's voicemail.  Within a hour I had a return call from Rob Griffin.

He told me that they receive whole hawthorn berries from 2 certified organic farm sources in 2 countries, and I should have written them down.  One was Peru, I think, and I don't remember the other one.  But it wasn't China.  He said that unlike most other hawthorn mfgrs, they crush their own berries at their facility; most other places buy already processed hawthorn.  They test everything at their place in Cheyenne, WY.  They are a small family business.  As they add no magnesium stearate or other additives, I buy from them.  I do wish I had asked why they don't get their hawthorn from the U.S., but I didn't think of it.  But he did tell me that unless the product is both sourced in the U.S. and manufactured here, they can't put "Made in U.S." on the bottle.  Hence the confusion in the labeling.  Hope this helps, and thank you for asking because it clarified things for me, too.

Ingredients says hawthorn berry (great product!). To be safe & for full info, the phone # is 1-888-345-2757 (Cheyenne, Wy). I spoke to owner in 2018, VERY nice & helpful. Leave your number or keep calling if you don't get through. You will be glad you did, imo.
