perfect for GC2000 replacement
This worked well and was what seemed like an identical replacement for the GC2000 disposal I removed. The size and attachments were identical. It was easy to install by reading the instructions. There is even a YouTube video that goes through the steps well for the replacement.

Easy installation for my husband to replace our garbage disposal.
Rather than call someone to replace our disposal he ordered this one for a much more reasonable price. He watched YouTube to figure out how to replace it and it was very simple. It works great and it’s been over a month!

Using electrical cord from old disposal a pain
Whirlpool should be ashamed of how difficult they have made the installation of this garbage disposal so difficult for DIY or even a professional plumber to install. I bought this whirlpool because it was supposed to be an easy replacement for the whirlpool that I took out. Whirlpool is too cheap to include the electrical cord and expects you to take the one off of the old unit. The cord on the old unit, which was a whirlpool, was a snap in connection with barbs through the bottom of the garbage disposal and I had to cut through the metal in the bottom to get it out. If you’re going to make it this hard to get the cord out you should include a cord with the new garbage disposal. The only good thing about this installation was that the dishwasher connection and the drain were in exactly the same place so that part was easy. Quit being so cheap and include a cord. How much more could it be five dollars?
