Advertises wood, plastic, aluminum, and steel. Cuts wood, plastic, and steel.

It'll cut everything, but it's main party trick, cutting both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, is not very accurate. This is a ferrous blade. Aluminum wets onto the teeth no matter what you do, and once it gums up too much, the C7 grade carbide is so brittle you can snap some of the teeth off trying to free the wetted aluminum chunks. It'll rip through steel like no other, and cut PVC pipe as fast as you can move the saw, but it struggles a bit with wood (I think the higher grade carbide just doesn't hold as sharp an edge as wood-cutting carbide blades), and aluminum bogs down the saw.The 4.5" version of this blade was great for aluminum on the angle grinder, but the teeth aren't as deep on the 6.5" blade, and they may have a different grind or rake angle. I don't know if it just really wants to be spinning faster or if it needs a different attack angle, but on solid aluminum bar or hollow tubing, it's just not suited for it. Go get some decent ferrous and non-ferrous blades and swap them out, you'll spend less time changing blades than you will trying to force this one through aluminum.I do want to stress though, this thing will eat up steel all day long. The only downside on that front is the harder grade of carbide means it probably won't last as long, since even though the carbide teeth will stay sharp longer, they won't stay on the blade.

As somebody else wrote; jack of all trades, master of none

I'm adding on a 4th star for my personal experience that i'd have to rate 3 stars at best; blade caught on the edge of a steel 1/8" thick band and threw 3 teeth on the 4th use; amazon gets 5 stars for replacing the blade, but having used morse metal devil blades for most of a decade with never a problem, there is caution to be had with this bladeThat said i'll be glad to have the bad blade back in action for the 'do everything' aspect. It did not cut wood great and nowhere near as good at cutting metal as the morse, but it's 1/6th the price as well.It it's 50% heavier than any blade i have so it does take longer to get up to speed but the mass helps it bite through nails and such and that's why i wanted this blade; i can cut though wood that has a nail and not fret that it'll kill the blade, also when i'm mostly cutting metal but need to cut an occasional 2x4, this is the blade I want in my saw; i think i could cut a 2x4 faster with my teeth than the morse metal blade which really ONLY cuts metal.I tried to cut a deep cut (1 1/8 inch) all the way down a 2x2 and it couldn't do it; i had to do it in several passes where *ANY* other blade would have NO problem in my M18 fuel saw (can cut 41 feet of LVL which a corded saw can barely do).so in anticipation of my replacement doing what it's supposed to do 4 stars not 3.

    Not a Bad Blade

The blade is supposed to cut just about anything?? Used only 1 time on a thin soft aluminum door panel, and the blade was dull!! Won't even cut a 2x4 now!! Definitely is "NOT A BAD BLADE !!" Bad buy maybe more like it.
