I made 10 empanadas with both molds. Some came out well; others barely had an edge. The largest cutter has a diameter smaller than that of the larger mold. Hence the skins cut do not seat properly in the mold. The rolling cutter also cuts skins of the same diameter. I ended up using the base of the mold - since it is in two pieces, cutting is a bit tricky. The two parts of each mold are hinged together in such a way that there is play. You have to be careful with the stuffing. If you slightly exceed capacity, as you open the mold, the metal edge cuts into the empanada - I suspect that this could happen with any mold of the same design. It would have been helpful if a spoon was provided to scoop the right amount of stuffing.

It is a perfect product. At first, I like it because of its simple and generous appearance, and its design is very simple and great looking. After I bought it, I found that it was worth the price. It was very convenient to use and easy to clean and use. It saved my time.

would love to tell you how awsome it works but my wife has not yet made me anything with these. so here I sit writing you that thus is a good product which is true but I am empanada deprived at this point.

These dumpling makers are so easy to use and clean up is a breeze. I like that there is more than one size and they don’t take up much room in my kitchen drawer.

Good dumplings makers. It’s easy clean and wash. I like the material of stainless, no any smell on it unlike other plastic products. It is more safer when use on the food.

Great little gadget!

I got this set as a gift for my boyfriend, he loves making homemade pierogis and previously had a less than stellar plastic press. This set works phenomenally in comparison and he no longer has to use a cup to cut perfect circles of dough. I'd recommend this for anyone that makes their own pierogis, empanadas, ravioli, etc. It's fantastic!

The rings make cute cutouts that don't fit the presses and the presses are so small that it's almost impossible to put in any filling in. The presses can be used to cut dough for the right size to fit the press. They are functionally useless for making any kind of empanada, at least those from Colombia or other parts of Latin America. Even the large press won't hold a teaspoon of filling. They would work for small raviolis, but there are much better ravioli presses on the market that allow you to make several at once. Normal sized potstickers, goyoza, or bulgogi wouldn't fit in the large press.
