Amazing Value
I wanted an eyepiece for my travel scope. At the discounted price, there wasn’t much to lose and I have to say I’m very impressed. It’s reasonably light but still well made, the zoom is very smooth and the eye relief ok. Although the field of view gets smaller at lower magnification, it’s acceptable and the clarity of view and contrast seems good. It was cheaper than most nasty single focal length eyepieces but much better. I’ll definitely use it with my travel scope and possibly with my other scopes.

Give your budget scope a new lease of life. Buy one of these
Speaking as a recent returnee to stargazing and using a recently purchased second hand Sky-Watcher Heritage 100p scope I was seriously impressed with this zoom eyepiece. My first night out with my little Dobsonian scope was quite disappointing. With the views of the moon showing serious colour fringing with both the 25mm and 10mm eyepieces I was unable to get good focus.Trying to see the rings on Saturn with the 10mm and 2x Barlow that came with it (80x magnification) was virtually impossible. However, I remembered having to upgrade the eyepieces on a previous telescope that I owned years ago to get the best out of it, so I did some research and saw some good reviews on the SvBony Sv135 zoom eyepiece. Having never owned a zoom eyepiece before I was somewhat reticent about pushing the Buy button, but boy am I glad I did.Views of the moon are fantastic through the full range of magnification with this eyepiece without a Barlow (16x - 57x on my scope). I could also get good focus on Saturn's rings at just 57x. All of this with very little (almost none) colour fringing.I'm now looking forward to pushing my little scope's boundaries further with a good Barlow.Summing up: If you have one of theses small scopes and have been a less than impressed by it's performance, try this eyepiece from SvBony.

Competative price
So far I am pleased with my purchase though I have only managed to use it once! It has a smooth action and for the price which was competative I am more thn happy with my purchase.

Focus
It’s good but it looses focus as you zoom in

Well made and clear optics.
This is a really handy EP to have in your kit. Clear optics and a decent zoom range, and good eye-relief. Well built and 'feels good' in the hand and while using the zoom. Would have been nice to have zoom click-stops but at this price, I am not complaining!

Not as good as hoped. Honest review, tested against other eyepieces. Review Updated.
Please note, this is my personal opinion about my particular unit. I am a beginner, but quite picky. Pro's will not buy this kind of eyepieces anyway, especially at this price tag.No big surprises with this eyepiece. I was hoping for better in terms of optics, but you will get what you pay for. It is optically worse then budget plossl eyepieces, costing double or triple the money. You get using convenience, not much optical quality. It is not too bad, and you can live with it, and quickly get use to it. However if you are after better image, it is not it, even though you can not expect much at this price tag.1. Tested against celestron omni eyepieces.Focusing ring is quite stiff. (got better with a couple of uses) Filter thread uneven and stiff to screw the filter on.Drop in brightness comparing to plossl design eyepieces, so light transmission is affected. (possibly worse coating or cause of more elements). Slight drop in sharpness, more significant drop in contrast. It s sharp enough, but contrast is disappointing. Another disappointment is that you have to readjust focus every time you change magnification. Cant say about CA, cause my achromat produces quite a lot of it during the day anyway.Good thing, it is convenient to have one eyepiece and not to change it every time and change your filters. For that reason this item earned 2 stars out of 5. You need to invest in something better, or get couple plossl eyepieces covering same range.2. So the first update as I have tested it against Helios (OVL) Hyperflex 7.2 - 21.5mm and could not determine much difference. The pleasant surprise was that svbony zoom was more comfortable to use, as it has larger exit pupil diameter and felt as it has a slightly larger field of view. It was easier to focus, I had to spend a bit more time focusing Hyperflex zoom as it needed a bit more precise adjustment. However it had a slight disadvantage on the contrast, barely noticeable was sharpness advantage of Hyperflex. Maybe because I really wanted to see some difference in this very similar eyepieces. Anyway, Svbony felt easier and more comfortable to use (surprisingly). They came in same looking box and similar build quality, so I must assume they are made at the same factory and are very similar optically. So I have to say that Svbony zoom is much better value at £55 against about £80-£90 for Helios (OVL) Hyperflex zoom, that is very similar optically. (in fact hyperflex felt like its is made at same factory and is really similar)One more star added, based on my recent tests, but svbony zoom still lags behind budget non zoom plossl design eyepieces. Will update review accordingly as I test it against another zoom eyepiece soon.

Great value and clear viewing.
Bought this to save swapping out eyepieces all the time. The focal range is great, the image is clear and it's very comfortable on the eye when viewing. I think it's exceptional value for the quality of the build and image through the eyepiece, and I'm finding this is my go-to eyepiece at the moment because it's so convenient.Well worth the money.

Wygoda
Sympatyczny maluch.

Takes the place of several lenses.
I used this zoom lens all the time, Finding objects at low mag, then zooming into high mag to look closely at the details. Way easier than changing a lens and losing the object. However, the zoom is a bit tight, and I find best to hold stationary with one hand while turning the zoom with the other.
