wow i add it to smoothies what an authentic European taste that is so much different from american milk powder products i bought nido and other brands but red cow is got that gourmet taste probably they are feeding cows differently or different breed of cows ! its little bit expensive because of tariffs for sure.

Great Poduct. Dissolves easily. Tastes more like milk than "real" skim milk does. Tastes pretty close to whole milk after sitting in the refrigerator for an hour or so, and overnight. It has a slight buttery/fatty mouth feel and aftertaste similar to heavy cream. Perfect for when I run out of milk early. Exceeded expectations. Will buy again.

Taste good and creamy. Only problem was big dent in can so hard to put the plastic lid on.

This is an "instant" powdered milk; it's intended to mix quickly, with a spoon. It's "instant" because it's mixed with other products, including soy. Non-instant powdered milk requires a mixer. Spoons don't work. Some people are likely to experience a bit of a bitter taste at some point during consumption, depending on temperature and concentration. It turns out, that there is a genetically-determined predisposition to detect bitterness in food or medicines. I grew up abroad on a diet of non-instant powdered milk. You had to use a mixer, and it took a minute or so. But I don't remember any bitter taste at any time, at any temperature or concentration. Milk always tasted good. There are times when this particular product is useful - like when you run out of milk, and you need to make cappuccino (BTW, it frothes well). It's too expensive for cooking, and there are cheaper non-fat alternatives that do the job. I use those when preparing oatmeal, for example. The price of Red Cow has gone absurdly high during these inflationary time - and so I no longer buy from this vendor.

I used this brand for the first time, and I really liked it. It blended up easily and didn't leave a weird, grainy feeling in my mouth. The milk worked well in the recipe I used it in. No one would have known it was powdered milk. I don't use a lot of milk on a regular basis, so I like the fact that this is shelf stable, but still high quality, without all the "extra additives" that I DON'T want in my food.

Flavorful, love this brand

I ordered a 2.5 Kg barrel of Red Cow for our emergency supplies just based on reviews. But I was so intrigued with reviews saying it's "just like" fresh whole milk that I wanted to try it myself. So, not wanting to open the big barrel, I also ordered this 900g can to test it out, and have on-hand for "minor emergencies" like when we're out of milk and I'm too lazy to run to the store. Mixed up a quart and did a blind taste test with the wife. The verdict: While we could tell which was which with them side-by-side, the Red Cow is very, very close to fresh milk.. Had some more later without the direct comparison and found it creamy and entirely drinkable. My only previous experience with powdered milk was some generic no-fat stuff we tried 20 or 30 years ago that was awful, so we avoided all powdered milk up until now. Just goes to show, things are not always created equal. Because Red Cow is fantastic! I guess my greatest concern is not using it up fast enough after opening the can. The plastic lid really isn't a very good seal, and I've had buttermilk powder we use for baking turn into a brick from the humidity. So, I transferred most of the powder to sealed Mylar bags with oxygen absorbers. The little 1/2 pint bags that come with most Mylar kits hold exactly 1 cup of the powder, which happens to be the perfect amount for mixing up 1 quart of milk. I also found some pour-tops for Mason jars here on Amazon and ordered a couple to fit to quart jars we already had. This turns out to be a great set-up - pour a 1 cup pouch of Red Cow powder into a quart jar, fill it with water, and shake it up. That's generally going to be plenty to hold us over until we get to the grocery store next. And, BTW, not dents in either can.

The milk is good but still expensive maybe because it is produced & manufactured outside the USA, and it might be more expensive if the raw material is imported then the finished product is made here in the US due to food regulations or whatever law that we have here in the US. My most concern is that the product was labeled to confused or mislead the consumers. The product was labeled as "PRODUCT OF NETHERLANDS (HOLLAND)". and " MANUFACTURED IN THE NETHERLANDS". But when I search "red cow powder milk made from" on the internet, that is when it shows where it was originally manufactured, produced & made from. One more thing is the distributor. It says on the label " Distributed by AFN BROKER LLC" with the address but when I checked, it was closed permanently. Your product is good but the way you represent it is bad. Do not lie.
