I'm absolutely happy with the efficiency, quality and smoothness of this kadai. I had done a lot of research on cast iron cookware recently and couldn't find any other kadais with grinded smooth surface and aesthetically appealing design together in one product! This one is a winner in both. The heat distribution is even all around the surface if you start in a low flame and gradually increasing to a medium flame. Another plus point is, it has a flat base unlike traditional kadais, which makes it sturdy on the stovetop and on the induction cooktop as well. It's also easy to clean as it has a smooth and even surface. NOTE : I did season the kadai thrice in two hour intervals, though it came preseasoned. This helps it to work like non-stick. Dynamic Cookware can compete with Lodge Cookware which is three times costlier in India! Also, to my knowledge, Lodge Cookware doesn't come grinded. Definitely recommend this product. Go for it without any second thought if heavy weight doesn't bother you.

Had to return for a replacement. But the replacement was worth it. Nice sturdy piece with interiors nicely polished. Buyers need to check the rim for uneven shape on either sides because of which i had to return first time i received. Now i am very satisfied with the purchase. Expect customers to seaon the same everytime after use. Will update further after useing for a period of 6 months

I have been meaning to write this review for a long time. I am guilty of mostly never writing any. What prompted me is a conversation with the owner of Dynamic, the firm that made this product. I used this kadai for barely 15 days to realize that it was adding a 'black' tinge to my food. I wrote to the firm's customer care mail. They replied and sought some pictures. I sent some pictures on the whatsapp number provided by the firm. That led to a call by the owner - and am I impressed! He understood the issue; did not offer any excuses; asked me to return the kadai for lab tests, and refunded the amount in less than an hour. Despite the return/exchange window long shut. Not only that he sent me a brand new kadai, gratis, and then called me to explain how to use it. In essence, the seasoning in the earlier kadai was combining with the food. Neither he nor I had a good answer on why it happened. But here's the thing. The second kadai is working beautifully. In fact, I also have a Lodge deep skillet - and let me say out loud - this is heavier, and with a thicker, smoother base than Lodge. Therefore, a product that beats Lodge at its game. I owed this review to the owner of Dynamic - for being so understanding, courteous, patient and, I hope, a remarkable businessman.

This iron Kadai is outstanding. It just getting better and better everyday. It was properly packed, came on time and a bit heavy. We seasoned It as per manual and used it. Absolutely not stick and retains heat for so long. After 1 week, we washed it thoroughly and seasoned it again. Now it is clean, smooth and Absolutely beautiful. You can cook anything and everything and is a must have if you really care about the quality of your food items. In my childhood I have seen iron Kadai in the house. But this one is even better. Just loved it.

Thick and wide. Very good for slow roasting

I own many cast iron products from brands like lodge and meyer, and have been cooking in them for many years without any issue. I even own the appachatti made by Dynamic and I am very happy with it. But I regret buying this product because it is turning all my food dark even after using it over 20-25 times by now. I have seasoned it and reseasoned it and there is still no end to the gunk that is coming off this pan. I am well aware of using and maintaining cast iron cookware and i follow the same method i use for my lodge/meyer cast iron cookware while using this particular pan also. But it is in vain. I do not know what the black substance is. When i wipe the pan after washing or oiling, the tissue turns black. When i cook in it, food turns black. I dont store the food or leave the food in the pan- no, the darkening happens while i am cooking and i dont cook anything acidic in it. Not even tomatoes. I have concluded something is wrong with it and have decided to store it deep in bowels of my cupboard as i cant return it now.

Very Good Quality, excellent finish, as described. Coimbatore is known for its quality products....since long time. This is my fourth Dynamic Cookware product... will make a complete cast iron set as per my requirements. Thank You! Amazon, & Dynamic Cookware

Quality of material is very good & it's self weight is too much at the same time it's observed that colour is blackish of cooked items like curry or other items cooked in this kadhai
