What a great utensil for when I make large pots of things, like in my 8-quart slower cooker. I had looked for something like this at the local markets, but only found cheaply made, smaller copies that didn't hold up. THIS IS STRONG, and BIG, and does the job wonderfully. I also ordered the matching slotted serving spoon. What a nice combination.

I was hesitant to purchase this as there are cheaper options, but I do not regret the purchase.The ladle is sturdy, hefty and seems durable. We do a lot of soups/stew cooking and this gets used multiple times through out the day and it is holding up nicely. The easy pour sides are also helpful.Easy to clean and hang and its thick rubber handle is easy to use and protects from heat effectively.I am glad I did not cheap out and purchase the cheaper ladles.

I am replacing all my plastic utensils. I read the reviews and everyone seemed to really like this one. I have to agree that the handle is easy to grip. The utensil isnt too heavy but is extremely sturdy. It's dishwasher safe and easy to clean. The design is basic ..it's a ladle. What I like is that it doesnt have more than it needs...it's simple in it's design and weight.
